Post Counts

While it has been mentioned in other posts, it deserves an official announcement here. Posts in the Inferno no longer count towards a member's total post count, however they do still show as part of a member's daily posting total.

Post counts may be disabled accross all forums if any issue develops around them.

As I REALLY know not to Diss a ADMIN.....

I really have to ask 'Who in blazes cares a whit about Post Counts?'

Most if not all of us are listed in so many places on GOOGEL that post counts are totally without meaning.

Graffes' tried this and it never worked.

I hope that clarifies things on how we view this 'change'... or at least how I view it.

EDIT - and sorry for posting under a forum that specifically says only the admins can post but I just thought it to be a necessary post to show that this 'change' hardly does anything like Mags already said and would have been rather a waste to start a new topic in some other forum to discuss this. *shrugs*
