well i would like to start this post becuase it looks like a nice item to get. im just now 30, but i got a monk that is 52, so i'm sure he will give me a hand on this one. first off i did all the looking up on this quest. it looks pretty involved and i'm going to need some help and info on the mobs for it. i know the first thing you have to get is the frost gaint toes. four of them. this will not be hard becuase the gaint con light blue to green to my monk. but here is my first question for all of you , i know alot of poeple play de necros, i was wondering what the faction was in thrug before i go there. keep in mind i have never been there so i'm starting off fresh. also at this time i have got my baking up to 149 and most likely going to finish at 179. now this should get me ready for the third quest. well before i make this post to long and no one reads it that is all i have for now.
thanks,

Velious Faction is a whole new slate.
Most, if not all, of the cities con indifferent to you at the start.
Use 'em and abuse 'em as you need to. <_<

only cities I really had trouble with was Necropolis and Kael.
First Shawl is 4 frost gaint toes.
Second Shawl is 10 Krommif Heads
Third Shawl is baking (trivial around 136 will be enough for now)
Fourth Shawl is pottery (trivial around 122 will be good)
Fifth Shawl is tailoring (trivial around 115 will be good)
Sixth Shawl - haven't really gotten into yet.

well you can skip the 3rd shawl if you know some one who was already gottion it cause when you finish your 3rd shawl you get this seal and aqll you need is for some one elser to turn in there seal and you turn in your second shawl and poof you get the 3rd shawl with out all the hassal of kiling them damn griffins then after you finish that you need pottery and i dont think there is any way around that but if you ge here it tells you how to get your pottery and baking up :-) i tell you how to get baking up to 191 really easy all you need is like a smithing skill of 45 or somehting to make a non stick frying pan http://www.necrotalk.com/index.php?showtopic=314
t and i keep fudging up my faction with them coldian and i have all the pieces needed to get my 6th shawl but .... i cant get the velium pureifyer...

okay here are the trival for all the shawl quests, I suggest rather than posting all the details here, is to go check out eqtraders for detail information on this quest. ITs A HUGE but well worth undertaking if you have the drive to do the whole thing.
Brewing 162
fletching 168
Jewelcraft 182
Pottery 162
tailoring 204
smithing 187
Now you don't have to get them that high, but for the things you make those are the highest trivals on them. You'll need most of them to get the last quests done, though I have heard you can MQ a couple of them. I've started working on this question, (i.e. getting my skills up there, the hardest and most expensive is smithing and jewelcraft) the most farming goes with tailoring.

Yeah, DEs start apprehensive I think, but Coldain faction is easy to raise. After killing enough giants to collect the bits to do the first three quests and doing the handins I was up to one step above indifferent (don't remember what that is: amiable?). After a few Kael raids and 8th shawl crawls for other people I'm now ally... got there without even trying to do it.
