Yxxta...any help

I have been poking around in here some trying this and that here and there, but nothing really consistent yet. I did a search here for some help in Yxxta but didnt really find much of anything. I get about 1 to 2 hours a night so I am trying to find something that is going to maximize my time online, when I cant get a group. Any suggestions from you guys would be great on how to handle this zone a little better.

necro.eqclasses had a wonderful thread that was like 4 pages long with maps and stuff explaining how to solo there. But I'll try and rewrite what I wrote there along with others, though I have no more maps to post for you.

Yxtta- the drops

-taelosian mountain tea leaves (for great brewed drinks)
-meldstone (qvic armor, each guild goes through like 500 + of these so they will sell VERY nicely)
-raw shimmering nihilite
-shimmering ore (for making items like velium gemmed daggers, these are the two "rare" components)

I got around 1000 kills here, and never saw either one. Having cleared through yxtta for uqua raids, I have finally seen both drop now at least. These two items can drop off any trash in the zone, so its a pretty interesting chance to solo these especially if your slots are poor here anyways.

How to solo in yxtta:
There are two ways to solo here. There is the safe way and the gambling way. Both require you to start from the right zin in yxtta, not the left side. When you zone in on this side you will see two mobs, one on the left and one on the right. Occasionally wanderers will come near these two mobs, two of them in fact.

Easy soloing:
Just root rot the one of the left to death, and then the one on the right. These two spawns will never summon, so your in the clear on these all the time. Now the gamble depends on the model of the wanderers. If the wanderer is noc, cragbeast, or hynid, your safe to kill em. Note, Nocs are pretty snare resistant, so be ready for an adventure. After a while, you'll get none of these mobs on the wanderer PH, so you'll only have two mobs to kill until repops. For this reason, this is a good AFK and do your work kind of camp, come back and kill, go afk again.

Gambling:
Mem DA and have some form of super fast run speed. I used my 104kpp lizard to accomplish this, although if you had SoE that would probably suffice. Now there are 2 sets of 2 mobs under the arch before the field. Cast DA just before them and run to the far back wall (a little to the right if memory serves of the uqua instance). When you get there (no mobs will be there), FD and let aggro clear. Bam your in a new solo spot.

Soloing here is quite the challenge. Make sure you only attack the mobs I noted that don't summon, or your dead fast. Also, keep your mobs rooted and snared full time your your dead as well, since you don't have much room to work with. When I was doing this type of killing like a year ago, I could keep 10-15 mobs down before repops. So if your not an AFK kind of person, this is the way to go.
Good luck getting some drops here, I gave up a while back when I got much better on these slots from raids anyways.
