Just curious how powerful we really are, and not for the sake of efficientcy but for the sake of brute ability. I'm talking about what we are actually able to pull off? At what levels can we solo a yellow or red con? Please post your greatest acomplishments alonge with the difficulty. Thanks, I'm rather curious. (PS: Recent only please, as in pre- major patch nerfs, no I soloed Nagafan back in the day ;) )
Difficulty: Easy, Average, Difficult, OHH! You see those Skillz!

I was able to do yellows efficiently up in to my high 30's after that it is doable but a waste of time compared to high blue cons.
For instance the two bards in high hold keep would be yellow to you at 38, you could take them but it would take so much effort you would be drained or near dead afterward.

Everyone has thier moments when they did a great feat. This subject really does not pertain to class as it does player. Any toon in the hands of a great player thats knowledged about the class they are playing is a difficult foe indeed. But if you must ask.
Duoed with a beastlord.....we killed gore.
Solo.....I killed that stupid fish in Kedge

For Exp, just about any necromancer with access to fire can solo red con mobs next to the fennin ro trigger mob spawn point. They triple(atleast) for around 1k and are red to 65(giving about 14% aa exp per kill). As far as Big kills....the list is probably just short of raid level encounters at the top end of velious, luclin and pop. The RoK dragons are pretty reasonable for a time geared necro, venril sathir is doable with some nifty pathing negotiation. Juggernauts/prot/jumpy in sebilis are easily soloable. Anything except the triggered dragon spawn in veksar is soloable. Lodizal, the Western Waste dragons(to a point) are soloable...tons of things are...
There's places throughout your leveling where you can almost always kill things above your level.

my most recent is the named giant in BW at the giant fort Gorgul Paclock he is between 46-50 so as I lvled there he was yellow most of the time now he is mostly white, but the general rule is if you can snare it you can kill it, or better snare/fear.
for him I used snare/fear/agro. but as someone else said soloing yellows is fun to do just cause you can but generally the amount of mana required isnt all tha work it expecially if you can kill 2 dk blues for the same ammount and get 1-2% more xp...

I have done yellows and reds all the way to level 50. I stopped at 50 only because I didn't want to accidently get ahold of a summoning mob. I even tried a red past 55 but was a bit sorry I did afterward when he started summoning me and kicking my axx (lavawalker in Skyfire). It was fun none the less.
I dont do reds anymore, but I have done whites agro kiting up to level 63. If a class can't kite or charm, then it is out of the question to take mobs that con that high after you are 60+ or are hunting in the PoP zones.

I guess my best fight was with Tserrina at 56 in the ToFS. I soloed her, but it was a close fight and she never gave up trying to charm my pet the whole fight. Pet was dual wielding gnoll hide lariats too which I think was a key factor in winning even if all I counted up was the bat fight first which kept me from using much mana to heal my pet prior to her spawn. I have soloed her since with the LoZ pet and my CoB pet and she is a breeze now... but then it was a wicked fight.

Guard Nash in my early 40's.
When I was but a young necromancer, I was hunting in Qeynos Hills and was dubious to the Qeynos Guards. Well Guard Nash took it upon himself to KS me because the mob was too close to the road. Well this angered me, and I /rude Guard Nash. I kid you not, he then took it upon himself to slay me on the spot.
Don't know if it was a glitch, bug, or whatever, but Guard Nash had my number and smited me down for flipping him the bird. This was quite some time ago, probably 2 years. Anyway, I swore vengeance, and finally it was mine to be had.
I am a human. Please don't flame me, I made an uninformed choice, but I've stuck with my human and he's made me very happy. Anyway, I had done a lot of killing in BlackBurrow, so my Qeynos faction eventually maxed ally. Travelling through QHills one day, I noticed Guard Nash conned yellow. I had never forgotten my silent promise to him, so I prepared myself and my pet for the revenge I deserved.
I tried everything. Dots, Nukes, Everything. He resisted everything i threw at him, and he was not being nice to my poor Goneker. Then I noticed the one spell that took. Life Tap over Time. Right then I knew victory was mine.
I could also get off a tap nuke, albiet partially resisted, but HP nonetheless. And between this and the dot, I could take enough aggro from Nash that my pet could survive. It was a long, gruesome fight, but finally Guard Nash, my hated enemy, fell. As an afterthought, after much celebration and shouting the the zone that Guard Nash was Dead!!!, I looted the body. To my elated suprise, I was rewarded with a token of my achievement, one I still carry with me to this day. On the corpse was a no drop item, Head of Guard Nash!!!!
Anybody that wants to see it, hop on Erollisi Marr and shoot me a tell, I would be happy to show you the severed head of my dead foe.
Since then I went on a killing spree, slaughtering Qeynos Guards left and right. Blood on my hands must have felt good or something. Regardless, I'm now and forever wanted in my hometown of Qeynos for the murder of Guard Nash, and others. Hee hee >=)

I been soloin PoN mobs since 53 ish.. kinda hard on mana, but usin lich and mount for the most part so its not so bad.. I use the mount as much as I can, but I always have a sow potion on me and sow on, theres always the resistant fek that resists first snare attempt, but cast it again 9 times out of 10 it'll stick (for me it did) I have Killed a couple reds, mostly has changed accordingly, and will probably be mostly white\db at the next lvl anywyellows, and some whites/db so far in my time there.. now that im 54 the number Im seein more yellows and whites, Xp is still around 3% per kill, Btw, group xp blows here for some reasn..I suppose solo grouping would be ok tho. I found the treants to be least resistant, and also seem to have less hps. Nightstalkers are mostly DB to me at 54, but still decent xp, and easy to kill as well.. I have a bard friend who comes n kites em for the diamonds, he basically pulls the whole damn camp and runs circles till hes dizzy (and me too: /) Kinda fun to watch as he dots and whatever the fek else he does to them while they all die nearly at the same times lol. So that can be a good PL for u pl'er peeps.. They drop decent amount of diamonds if u can clear the camp a few times, you usually get one blue diamond per clearing, and they sometimes drop the gimpish sham/rog/ranger head piece, that has 10 ac, 6 wis, 6 sta or somethin like that, which on TM, doesnt sell for jack. I think I'll probably give PoD a shot next, dont really know PoD too well since I lvld my higher lvl toons pre pop.. I dont mess with hob goblins too much, they hit hard as fek, and aggro range is high as with most mobs in PoN, but if get an add, Id much rather have a nightstalker or treant :)

.. I dont mess with hob goblins too much
They're immune to changes in runspeed too, it's probably good to stick to not doing these. The nettling wraiths and gargoyles are other mobs/camps in pon you can do upper 50's low 60's. I wouldn't try either before 58, resist could suck.

At lvl 34 I was eccefectively soloing Ice Giants in Everfrost. They resist alot but it is possible. It becomes much easier at 44 though.

I haven't done this personally but saw this done on my bst in june
My friends necro at 34 was successfully kiting the hoppers in dsp, he said it was insane exp and by the looks of it..it was easily done. He just casted snare then ran casted a dot..well you get the picture. This was back when c3 was allowed on anyone and he did use c3 but I think its viable with our lich line spell at that level.

yea those are decent farms... I usually farm SG (sirens Grotto) for around 10 k (average) per trip out there., I ve had a few trips worth over 20 k in drops and gems.. (gems are abundant here for velious and SS armorz) also, TONS of netted kelp drop which I usually sell for 1 k or so a piece depending on what slot drops, boots and tunic/sleeves usually sell quickest. I always duel box drood.necro for more dps..for named, I prefer using cleric ch'ing and Hot's(lvl 59) and drood atm has more hps coz hes lvl 62) once I get my necro to near lvl, that zone will be pie.. Mid 50 ish-60 ish clerics are NICE there because of pacify.. for SG pac is uber. Anyways, during every 4hr or so (estimated time or till I get bored) I get up to 3 named.. Drops are decent off those named, Giant walrus, huge walrus, giant manatee, enthralled ulthor. each one of those named drops a piece that is worth around 6-10 k each on TM. TM economy is decent so those prices should be near what your servers are.. The mobs I listed above have crap hps, does not take long to kill them, they hit on average around 200 per so for casters its a bit of pain when they summon, the named summon here. I wouldnt reccomend soloin here till around 60 ish or so. Adds is terrible here and its an indoor zone, so clearing is really hard if you dont hvae a cleric to pacify aggro range. I farmed this zone with a 65 nec/50 aa a lot as well, till they nerfed the zone to make some of the mobs a lot harder than before.. : / I was farming "Wavecrasher" pre nerf.. an uber twink wep that has 20 dot over 3 mins, and 20% slow proc. I still have a couple from those days lol. IF you guys have a partner you can duo with and dont mind splittin loots, its very profitable.. I made over 100 k in a couple weeks there all the while gaining lots of XP. most mobs db to 65.. AA xp is nice, reg xp is like anywhere else pre pop.. but lil better. anyways, check it out if u have time one day, get port to CS, zone into SG, nice to drood for succor as it puts u on the camp side where "most" the named spawn. GL guys :)

As far as high lvl soloing goes there's almost nothing we can't handle, recent big mobs for me were soloing all of outter at 52 hehehe, whole group wiped 3 times cuz they couldn't single so i just move in and split the spawn darkness and used the resists of my spells to keep agro, scent once or twice and pop another dooming and your pet can deal all the dmg, takes a while but its funner then shit.
