My usual source, caster's realm, seems to have lost all of its level 50+ research recipes. Does anyone know offhand the recipe for Sedulous Subversion? I have most of the others in my In-Game recipe lists and just need this one.

if you can nab a group (or are a good summon soloer) the rascle's just inside the castle in PoM can drop awareness
edit: i *think* they summon, but have never soloed, so not positive

I had heard that the PoM rascals dropped words of awareness and agony so I decided to camp them. Three days and 4 aa later I have nothing but gems and platinum to show for it. I PLed a friend's 49 druid for a while but other than that... I'm sick of mischief.
I wandered a little into the castle(not far at all) and nothing I found summons. PoM feels pretty safe. Safe... and boring.

if you want excitement and some decent research drops, etc try a bit of soloing in CT B)

Cazic Thule eh? Are the good drops(awareness/agony mostly) anywhere near reasonable in there?

Just tell your local guild clerics you need the spell and let those bitches get it for you.
BTW..I don't think there's a single topic discussing this spell that doesn't piss me off. We get 3 spells in this line, and not a single upgrade of any kind since like Velious.

very very few that aren't necros even know that there is more than 1 twitch spell. Coveteous Subversion gives the target 100mana at the expense of 300 mana from you. Seduluous Subversion gives the target 150 mana, at the expense of 450 to you.
Let's think about this. It costs you 150 extra mana, for only a 50 mana gain in what you give whoever your twitching. So you run out of mana at a rate that is significantly faster, for a small increase in how much mana you are giving the end user.
I don't understand why i should want ths, even if i liked twitching clerics. If my sole function in life were nothing but to be a mana battery for clerics, i would run dry quicker using sedulous than covetous, because of the extra mana cost, and so i'd have less to give the clerics.
Am i missing something here? Seems bizarre for sony to give me a spell that is higher level, that would make me less effective at twitching anyway. I think if i actually researched it and memmed it and used it, I'd be choosing to nerf myself.
And, to repeat myself, i don't even like being a cleric mana battery. I of course do it when a group crashes and burns and for example the cleric needs it to rez ppl.

on the conversion thing... it's alteration-based, so a bit better if you figure spec checks in... that said, i've never played mana-battery on a raid... it doesn't make sense... however, i use it all the time on group wipes where i have to rez the cleric and get his mana back up (or a pally tank)... sitting on a horse with SoS going you really don't lose that much and it gets everyone back up and hunting
that said... i DON'T want an upgrade... if it started approaching 1 for 1 we would be mana batteries... in fact, i think a great "suggestion" for the devs might be giving twitch to chanters and shammies B)

I just want a xfer spell that scales with my level, and the level of gearing the people I'm twitching are at. I don't think it's too much.
There are raids where simply nothing lands. Mobs are immune to magic(all types). There's also instances where they don't want mobs damaged for lengthy times but they need to be tanked...it'd be nice to be efficient with time and mana to help out a bit, instead of inserting our thumbs firmly up our arses(scales hurt).

good point... i don't go much past tier 1-2 pop, but have heard the same from other casters... melee time? <_<

Telling guild clerics to get the thing for me would work if I were guilded. I was looking to get this spell because whenever I group with friends we go without a chanter or bard.
If any of them die it takes a while to get back up and running and I'm slightly impatient about things like that.
I see your point Jeb, but for me this spell has its use.
