No Lifetap dot in PVP

Whats this I am reading about no Life Tap dot in PVP...

If you cannot cast your life tap dot then you are not going to win a fight with anyone... its out only other -200 resist check other then our lifetaps and sometimes you lucky that its not resisted...

PVPing without these spells is a death sentence...

Get off blue servers and play the real game...

I fought another player...once. he was a bard 1 lev higher than me i think i was 38. He kicked my ass.. It is sort of hard to kill a guy when you plan your fight on fear to find you cant use that spell. w/o lifetap DoTs we wouldnt kill very well either..... maybe we just werent meant to fight PCs according to SoE

You can cast lifetap DoT in everquest dueling. It's a true fact, I tried it on a SK just a little less then 4 days ago. The DoT worked, although instead of doing 122 a tick it only did about 80, so it has been reduced but it still works.

i was dueling a shammy and vexing mordinia wouldnt work on her or the cleric i dueled after the shammy so no they dont work in a duel unless maybe they do on PVP servers but otherwise theyre about as useless as SOE made fear in a duel. but its alright we all know if we could use all our spells wed stomp them all hehe. hell we still put a hurtin on B)

That is the real deal. We got nerfed so bad on our spells because we kicked PC's butt that they all squeeled like stuck pigs to Verant (Now SoE).

I think SoE needs to unerf everyone and let the chips fall where they may. It is stupid to have your skills and spells nerfed... that is you who are fighting the other player.. it is a half sized look alike.

P.S. I know some warriors that will own a necro.. so don't get too cocky... when a warrior has 300+ on ALL his resists WITHOUT buffs, he is going to eat your pet and then come after you. But that is just the way it is. I want to be unerfed... period.

if the warrior was smart he wouldnt even look at ur pet first, he go after u :P

There's no reason a necro should ever lose to a warrior unless the warrior has about 20+ levels on you.

Sure, if he has 500+ resists you may not kill him either, but he shouldn't ever kill you... not when we have shadow step.

On Vallon Zek, OT is the most common fighting grounds. If, for some reason I'm low on HP's (maybe 2-3 onto just me), I'll shadow step and run off and find a mob to throw a lifetap dot on, and/or just ToM it if I'm severely low. Most mobs near the book will die in a single shot at around 46+, so you won't have to worry about aggro.
