Just wanted to throw this out there.

I have been kiting in EW lately. Going after Ulthorks, Rhinos and Walruses. I know there are better places for xp and pp, but, this seems to be a good spot to learn to aggro kite.

I have been parking pet at a tree on the Ice edge in the NE of the zone. There is a dwarf outpost not too far away. Anyway, I DD pull (not many resists), throw Vamp Curse on, VotS, Scourge. When mob hits about, oh..anywhere from 90% to 50% i get pet in on the kill. Mobs dont seem to last for more than one circle if they make it back to camp even.

I had posted before about techniques for aggro kiting, now...I think I might have a good idea of how to do it. Mobs are still mostly DB(some walrus exceptions).

Any other suggestions people might have about other easy to learn areas. Feel free to post.

for a change of pace, but about the same xp/level of mobs, you could go to the dreadlands and aggro kite mobs... just go by castle in center and pull mobs there... pretty easy to single and good space

you could probably fear kite boats in dulak (or could soon)

I haven't tried fear kiting much yet. It is not yet in my works, Lol. I will try that and see what happens in EW. just because it is so open there for kiting of any kind.

if trying in EW i'd suggest using low-level fear and ping ponging (let it wear, they come back, then recast when real close)... high level fear and they will go way too far and you will probably get adds (maybe a few  )

I've been teaching myself to fear/agro kite in upper Echo. Is great plently of room and you also need to FD split the 4 bugs and 3 lizard things. Not to mention it a hotspot atm.

One zone teaching me 3 important parts of being a necro not bad imho.

But if your on Quellios stay away

Echo might be a good spot. I get bit nervous in tight spaces  ( I don't know if thats allowed). FD split would be good to learn, but, I like to give pet toys and with an FD split pet might get mowed down. What spell do you use to split? is it a low aggro like DD or a higher one like VotS. also, after split do you root rot them?

Pull with snare and having an ext range item helps to.

Basically pull with snare run back a bit hit FD and hope it works lol. What for the un snared mobs to reset and stand up rince and repeat. Only have to do it once then the 7 mobs s/b nicely spaced when they repop.
