Changes to GoD spells on Test

Necromancer L65: Night Stalker (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4889&source=Test) - Formerly Midnight Flame, 134 per tick DOT
5: Decrease Hitpoints by 122 per tick
6: Increase Hitpoints by 122 per tick of group

Necromancer L65: Night Fire (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4890&source=Test)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 335 per tick
Note: Damage reduced from 375 to 335 per tick.

Necromancer L65: Muram's Beckon (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4891&source=Test)
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 220 per tick
6: Increase Hitpoints by 165 per tick of self

Ancient Spell (Necromancer L65?): Ancient Seduction of Chaos (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4978&source=Test)
1: Illusion: Unknown(367)
2: Increase Mana by 60 per tick
4: Ultravision
5: See Invisible(1)
7: Decrease Hitpoints by 75 per tick
Note: Was -76 hp per tick

This last one seems to have had its level removed, according to the change log at Lucy. Not sure if this means that the spell was removed from the game, or what, but there you have it.

Here are another, I believe:

Necromancer L64: Ancient Seduction of Chaos (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4978&source=Test)
1: Illusion: Unknown(440)
2: Increase Mana by 60 per tick
4: Ultravision
5: See Invisible(1)
7: Decrease Hitpoints by 76 per tick

Oh, and Lucy currently shows following for Muram's Beckon:
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 220 per tick

but on Allakhazam's main site, it shows:
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 220 per tick
Recourse Effect: Muram's Beckon Recourse
6: Increase Hitpoints by 154 per tick

Oh, and I checked. The skellie for is Illusion: unknown(367), spectre form is listed as Illusion: Spectre. So either they have a temporary illusion on the test server, or maybe we will get a new illusion. Of course, I'm 1/4 level from my first illusion. Trying to get up there, but I doubt I will before GoD comes out. Sigh

Ahh, OK. Recourse is the beneficial component, so it does 220 hp/tick damage, but the necro (or perhaps the group) gets 154 hp/tick for 9 ticks... 1,386 hp of healing.

Pretty sweet. :)

Nope, Murams is self-only, just like Saryn's Kiss.

=======================================

Muram's Beckon
Decrease Hitpoints by 220 per tick
Mana: 605
Target Type: Single
Duration: 9 ticks

Muram's Beckon Recourse
Increase Hitpoints by 154 per tick
Target Type: Self
Duration: 1 ticks @L1 to 9 ticks @L15

=======================================

So, they're both single target only (not group like Zevfeers), almost identical in every respect (including both being Alteration). The only differences :

SK : 550 mana for 200 dmg / 150 heal for 10 ticks, total of 2000 dmg / 1500 heal
MB : 605 mana for 220 dmg / 154 heal for 9 ticks, total of 2025 dmg / 1386 heal

So basically, it's slightly faster, for slightly more mana, for slightly more dmg and heals somewhat less. Basically I can't see any reason you'd ever use it. Especially when half the reason you use it (if not the whole reason) is to keep yourself healing to counteract lich.

In fact, I'd have to say, if it goes in as stated, it's about the most useless and stupid "upgrade" I've ever seen. Why is this spell lvl 65 at all ? If it was lvl 62 and was just a slightly different option or was based on disease instead of magic or something then I could understand but lvl 65 ? I think not.

Ooooh !!! Now, THIS one I'm excited about :

=======================================

Night Stalker
5: Decrease Hitpoints by 122 per tick
Mana: 950

Night Stalker Recourse
6: Increase Hitpoints by 122 per tick
Target Type: Group v1
Duration: 1 ticks @L1 to 9 ticks @L15

=======================================

Now this one IS an upgrade to Zevfeers, the group lifetap over time and this would ROCK. Ok, it's a lot of mana, but 1100 heal on the whole group would be worth it.

And this is an upgrade to Funeral Pyre:

=======================================

Night Fire
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 375 per tick
Mana: 495

Funeral Pyre of Kelador
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 241 (L60) to 261 (L65) per tick
Mana: 450

=======================================

and a darn nice one too !

First, remember. These are on test, and may not be final version.

And currently, Lucy is showing following for MB:
Muram's Beckon:
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 220 per tick
Duration: 1 min

Muram's Beckon Recourse:
6: Increase Hitpoints by 165 per tick
Duration: 1 ticks @L1 to 1 min @L17

Mana: 605

So now, we have:
SK: 550 mana for 200 dmg / 150 heal for 10 ticks = 2000 dmg / 1500 heal
MB: 605 mana for 220 dmg / 165 heal for 10 ticks = 2200 dmg / 1650 heal

Guess that extra tick and 11hp/tick heal helps a bit. So now we show difference of:
55 mana, 20 dmg / 15 heal for 10 ticks = 200 dmg / 150 heal.
This is an exact ratio, neither more nor loess mana effecient per dmg/heal.

Of course, having said all this, it will probalby change now.
And having said that, Ancient Seduction of Chaos is not currenlty listed on Lucy.

And in summary of this, we have learned that anything for the test server on Lucy can change, even the spell actually existing.

I think I just made my entire post pointless with that.

so these are the only new spells we get? kinda weak imo the upgrade to FP is only thing i like really, the new lich is nice but not a hopla. what we really need is a fuckin GOOD debuff, maybe or a god damned better tap that is -400 resist mod, maybe less dmg then ToM slighty longer cast, but a lure like tap would be nice. and i play on pvp so yes i get ToM resists daily. oh and make new lich over time dot a -400 resist mod to thx.

I must disagree. 950 is NOT worth an 1100 pt group heal imo.

On paper it looks good, but start dishing out 950 mana during an ADV and see how long that lasts...

I commonly have grouped with necro's that will cast Zevfeers on each mob and throw out a dot or two also. How many dots do you think they will add when that heal is costing them the same as 2 spells.

Not everyone will cast this that often but then you are sitting with a spell slot for a spell that isn't getting used that much, and really isn't needed if you have a balanced group anyway.

While I agree 1100 mana a cast is alot, remember we are getting a lich upgrade that should compensate for that somewhat, also alot of the times when your grouped you have buffs that further increase your mana regen, IE Bot9/pot9 and/or SD. I don't see this as a mainstay in a spell gem, but to cover AE dmg on raids, for your group I think it's excellent. I'm looking forward to this alot, night fyre will probably replace splurt, or (when you don't need to heal yourself from it) saryrn's kiss in alot of our dot line-ups, it's good damage and looks like another winner. I'm am kind of disappointed however with the lack of a low resist lifetap addition, guess we'll just have to wait and see how things work out once this goes live.
