HS Key adventure

Last night I was camping the prod drop in LOIO for my HS key. I was there with another necro guildie and we were just killing the greenies that populate the room till the named popped.

Anyway there is this table in the center of the room with a broken skellie on it. My guildie says "we can melee that skellie" Myself not knowing any better and being very bored said OK. So we go up to the skellie, attack it and it changes into a group of scorpions that all con green. They went after my guildie first and she died. The next min or so was chaos.. my first though was FD so I did. My pet was running around killing the scorpions so I thought I would get up and help him out.

I stand up, the scorpions summon me into the middle of the group and I was dead before I knew what happend.

Later of course we learned that the skellie on the table was part of the wizzy epic prequest. But my shock at being wiped out by a gang of greenie scorpions that appeared out of a skellie was well worth the death imo.

Lesson learned... do not touch broken skellies :D

I had something silly like that happen the first or second time I was in BoT.

I was fighting the named in deep south when I got summoned, and cause he was on a teleporter pad (BAD MT!) I was ported to some random part of the zone I'd never seen before. I was surrounded by kos mobs just outside of agro range, and all alone. I saw a shiny lighting flickering thing that I thought looks a lot like the lighting items at the zone out in HoH. So, thinking maybe it was a zone out and knowing I was bound in akanon I clicked on it a few times. Apparently I had just inadvertently tried to solo the Karana event. Needless to say it was rather quick.

Yes. You have to invis and touch one of the exits out in one of the four courtyards over by the tower. It's one of the two white gazebo things in the picture:

The other being the transporter into the tower if keyed (and I never remember which is which).

I had the same experience tempered only by a groupmate the told me "not to touch the lightning thing" fast enough to prevent the pain.

Left one is the exit out of the courtyard.

Right one is the entrance to that specific tower.

The electric dildo in the middle of the courtyard is obviously the entrance to the Karana event. :lol: Yes I think it looks like a dildo, everyone always used to make similar comments about it on the backflag raids on Tarew Marr.

Ah yes, the lightning dildo... I learned, once upon a time in my last guild, do not get anywhere near that thing if you have the Agnarr key in your inventory. I ran close to it at one point and got ported to the first room of his ring, never clicked it (hell, I was typing to the guild at the time, so my hands were no where near the mouse to click it.... F auto-run sometimes...). Needless to say, death was quick in coming.
