ive noticed a lot of people posting about dreadlands, but i cannot pull from the FV entrance, i get too many adds and some of the spiders are red to me. What is a good camp and what mobs should i be pulling? also what type of kiting

Invis and head to the far western end of DL. Go thru the Ice tunnel to the wizzy port in area. There are alot of undead in that area and a merchant that you can sell to him. There is only the occasional roamer, and his path is rather far from the undead thiefs.

Just my 2 cp, but that is where I was for a while. pain to get to, but it is worth it. If I remember correctly, they do not drop much items. Aggro kite does work there.

At level 40, your best bet is to kite the skellies in the pyramid in the hidden valley (where the wizzie and drood port ins are) which is all the way to the west of your map. Easiest way to get there is to have a wiz or dru port you; otherwise you have to run all the way from the FV entrance.

Once you get in the valley, you will want the center north pyramid with the plaguebone thieves. You can either fear or agro kite these guys, and they always single pull even if the mobs arre stacked on top of each other. Plenty of room along the strip of pavement just north of this pyramid, and only an occasional skellie wanderer to worry about (the wanderers kinda path diagonally acroos the plaza, and end up right in front of the pyramid you're pulling from, so I just treat it like any other spawn and kite it too:)

I get about 1.5% xp at level 44, and was getting about 2+% at level 41, so well worth it.

The answer to your problem is simple...

Set up shop right in front of Frontier mountains zoneline tunnel.
Pull from left and right of hill in front as you feel comfortable. If things get hairy, just bail thru the tunnel into FM. No problems. Good exp to at least 51. Then it'll start turning light blue on ya.

Go forth and Excel.

I setup camp around "North Ridge" at level 40 in Dreadlands..

It's the north ridge area from Karnors Castle. Pulling anything darkblue / white.

Then I hit Scarlet desert up once I realized I could portal to Twlight Sea from Guild Hall.
