Hunting in Kaesora

I am looking for a new hunting ground besides the standard DL & OT run. I am lvl 38 now and was thinking of hitting Kaesora.
I was wondering if this would prove to be a futile mission?
Should I wait till 39 when I get my new undead slow?
Would I be too high of a level for this zone by then ?
What is the best way to get to the undead?

IIRC there's spiders as you drop down to get to the undead area(where xalgoz(sp) spawns. I don't know if you could handle them at 39, it'd be best to check the bestiary of the zone and then ask around your server. I don't believe I solo'd here until atleast mid-40's, but it's been a good while since then so I could be off a bit. 38 I would guess it a little young.

Thanks I didn't look in the Undead Mob listing above and I think i may have better luck just doing Spectrals in Trak Tooth especially since it is an open zone not a dungeon

Best way to do it is use regular invis till you get past the spiders and cast IvU once you get to where the ghosts and skellies are. Then run behind the church where xagloz spawns and cast you're pet there. Great XP all the way to 45 or so. Zalgoz is a pain before 39. I'd say it's best to wait. He drops the fang for the Howling stones key which can be MQ'd if someone has the Prod of the Sarnak Chancellor in LoIo. Prod is droppable too, so you can do the whole thing yourself and sell the MQ. Kaesora is real nice through low to mid 40's especially with slow, don't have to heal much and real easy with lull undead to pull. Xalgoz also drops the clicky fear staff, I've killed him a bunch of times and never seen it so i think it's a pretty rare drop. Xalgoz is a 20 minute spawn but he has a PH so he's not always there either. Always drops at least one fang, sometimes two but they're lore. Sometimes he drops a blade which isn't really that great either.

Also remember that hunting in Kaesora will all but permanently frag your Outpost faction in OT.

everything in Kaesora sees thru regular invis. Most people tend to set up around the library or the church.

Wow I didn't know about the faction hit with OT vendors, not that I like their prices anyway. So if killing in Kaesora gives faction hits I take it that when I get to the level for killing in Charsis the same applies to their for faction hits?

as does Karnors, anything on the Venril Sathir Faction will fubar your Outpost Faction:

Faction hit never bothered me. Whatever you need you can get outside OT especially if you're leveling fast enough. With run 3 you can get to PoK fast enough from any zone to bank/sell. OT faction is nuthing to worry about.

true, but most people aren't aware of the faction hits down there and some still might want the choice to ruin it or not. nothing worse then fragging a faction u use and not be awere ur doing it.

That isnt really true. There are some spells there that I have not found at other vendors even the one in Echo Caverns etc. If you buy all your spells from there then you are good. I didnt mess with VS faction till lately and now I am KoS at the outpost. Doesn't matter to me.
