Who the Hell is Fizzleplink? And why is she/he the leader of so many forums if he/she hasn't posted-- at least since i've been righteously attending services at this board? Is there a policy of retiring non-active Moderators? Aryse would make more sense as the Leader of the Arena, and Felicite/UsulDaNeriak would both make sense with the other forums that currently have Fizzleplink associated with them.

Fizzleplink, if you're lurking in the background, i don't disrespect ya. It's just that Leadership implies active participation. I'm sure the lack of participation is thru no fault of your own and such, but your name ought not be associated with the leadership of forums on this board, in my opinion.

Okay. Done being a noisy, nosy ass for now. Have a nice day :D

Every mod is a global mod now, so they lead all forums. Reason that's still like that is just laziness.

Fizzleplink is a Gnome Necromancer who use to play on Bristlebane. I haven't seen him around for over a yr now. Last I heard, he was dealing with a few RL issues or atleast that is what I heard from the alliance I used to be in with him.

I did a little updating on the 'forum led by' bit. Looks a little busy now though, since mods are global. Fizzleplink's name can go back up there if he does return to the boards again.

Ya it does look busy.

I would think of those names as a suggestion to people new to the board concerning where they should direct questions. If that is the case, it wouldn't be necessary to have all moderators listed for every board, Just one or 2 should be sufficient to give people new to the site someplace to turn. People who frequent the board know to whom to address particular questions. Doesn't even have to relate to in-game specialties, cause if one moderator couldn't answer a specific question, i'm sure they could e-mail you or a different moderator.

You already addressed the real point of my question, and that is it could seem confusing to people just visiting and new here to have a moderator listed there that isn't currently active on the board or in the game.

Fizzleplink's name can go back up there if he does return to the boards again.

Of course. I wouldn't suggest otherwise.

Thanks for addressing this!

I vote too busy.. =p

There is a "your moderating team" link at the bottom of the page.. and since they are all global mods, I would vote to remove the forum specific entries which should leave these blank (like the super secret forum).

I was a mod on a board(non-gaming specific) that had a forum that only the mods could see. It was the most boring forum on the board. :P
