Can this be done solo?

not really (barring excessive uberness)

best setup is a group with a decent tank and healer (maybe even a backup healer), an FD puller (could be you) and some DPS... drops are pretty common (sash being the worst, but not bad), just takes a bit of time to finish the emblem part (named on 8-hour spawn i think)

also, you must have your PoJ trial done before doing turn-ins (can collect anytime)

another good way to go about it is to mini-raid... 2-3 groups fast-killing and gathering stuff... i do this from time to time with various people on stromm, so will look you up when i'm headed that way (may be next week)

Oh btw the raid mobs for 1.0 bypass quests for sk/pally also drop the medalians, not listed on alla as being in their drop tables.

They're very mean.

I know Neffiken, Lord of Kelek`Vor (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=10382) in the forest does and I believe Olidan (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=16474) in the ocean does too.
