Well much to my dismay a friend of mine needs help in HS/charasis for SWC's, and I told him I'd help, so I goto zone in and see what I remember, take a few steps fall though a floor and remember how much I used to hate this zone. Anyway if anyone has a map or can write out directions to boss there I'd appreciate it. I'm not interested in where blood points drop and such, I basically just want to make VS a bachelor get my friend the urn and leave. Any help would be appreciated. It doesn't have to be the easy route..the most direct/straight line would be prefered.

Unless you have the master key or a rogue you have to travel thru each of the wings to get the key to the next area. The keys are no rent so you have to do this each time you zone in: again unless you have a rogue.

I have a good map of Charisis that i got off the Crimson Talons webpage.

You start north, get the key to that area then port out to the zone in. then you go west get the key there and then port back to zone in(the ports to zone in are clickable portals inside or near the key holder spawn room of that wing). then you go south, when in the south area after getting the key you dont port back but use the key to unlock a back way into the East area(when u try the east door form zone in you fall from thru as you discovered again)

I farm here for shits and giggles but I've also done the quest for the master key which makes a big difference. To get the master key you collect pieces that are sitting ont he ground in each wing and the last piece comes off Drusela herself.

My basic start is to DC a zone-in mob or a skelly from the first wing. A charmed pet will tear thru this place.

There is no straight way to her without a rogue or master key.

I would wager that the aa for AoE Mez undead would work good in certain places in HS like the drop down from the fake picture walls etc. where there are like 4 or so Skele at the bottom. Anyone use the AE mez to know how good it works in HS? How about pacifying the mobs on the drops downs?

My main is a rogue and i have hunted HS extensively since it was one of the places you needed LP to get around. I also remember the ease at which to get adds which I have hesitated to go deep into HS because of.

I hunt in Charasis all the time and you don't need key's to go to the good wings. If you want to do the North and West wings, yes, but if you want to get right to the good stuff, East and South, you don't need keys at all. There is a trick to getting to the South Wing door (which is "always" unlocked). The steps leading to the South Wing door are fake so you will fall through if you walk up them, but you don't need to do that. Just cast DMF on yourself, kill the two golems sitting at the East Wing door, walk up the East Wing steps, climb on top of the firepot, start walking towards the center platform's roof and then hold down the FWD and LEFT keys at the same time and turn your mouse so you are now facing the South Wing steps (oh, be sure to kill the South Wing golems too before attempting this) and you will walk in the air kind of "sideways" and you can land right at the South Wing door (be careful because not only do the two golems sit at the South Wing door, but a wandering Hamet Skeleton will go in and out of the door, so when you kill the South Wing golems, kill him too before attempting the airwalk).

Once you've landed in front of the South Wing door, open it, go in, make your pet or DC a possible pet (you might even try to kill the two South Wing Golems and wait for the roaming skeleton to come out of the door and try to DC him, then do the airwalk over to the South Wing door and then go in, buff up, med and break the 4 mobs in the inner entry of the South Wing). Sounds complicated but it's not, if you just, keep practicing the airwalk, you'll soon get it, I make it everytime now without fail. Also, I think the Hamet Skeleton is too high for DC, but try it anyway.

I know Charasis "very" well, so if anyone has any more questions about farming it, just let me know. A single 65 Necro can take the entire and I do mean "entire" zone, even Drusilla with "precise" pulling/splitting. Two 65 Nec's together is a no brainer there. I always recommend that in "any" zone, you duo with another 65 Nec, the power of two 65 Nec's is incredible. One can heal pets while the other one slows/mezzes/snares.

Enjoy!
