More platinum then brains.....Try this: Your way over the int cap, so I'd switch out your rings for a shadel bandit ring, and another with mana/hps. Also loose that robe and get the robe of misery for the burning affliction effect. Golden efreeti boots are teh suck. The batskull earring looks a bit out of place too. I'd really work on resists and hps at this point, and if you could get some mana preservation/spell haste/dot extension it'd help you tremendously. Effects/focus >int/mana any day(to a point) IMO this is a great example of doing LESS with MORE...

I went more Sta and hps, but ended up havin lots of INT heh, some focus/effects as well.. I have an obulous deathshroud in inventory, 4 bags of tinkerers(100% WR bags) and one rallic pack, one 70% bag..

I have another robe, but i cant use it right now, i forget the name of it but it is one of the new Talored robes that are <250 trival. It has 120 mana and i think 70 hp and other stats. What do u recamend for the rest of my armor. Im willing to change anything excpet the shield and my zlany heart(centimental)

I'd model my grear after Kompressor's, he seems to have a good profile and know a bit more about how to be successfull as a necromancer. Preservations and focuses are better then a little more mana. If you want to keep your pofire robe (I can't find a reason as to why you would, but if you do) Get ceramic shackles of torment....they'll give you BA through level 65.

Focus Items are so expensive. I drool over them in bazaar all the time, but anything over 15k pp is too expensive for me and Tarew marr is a pricey server. Other then augs in LDoN, what are some other alternatives?

I have focused on focus items myself. If you have the plat it is well worth it. LDoN is also a good place for some focus augments if you adventure alot.

I cast faster, farther doing more damage for less mana. :D

Tsulle... focus effect IV is only things that ll take u up to 65, howevre, some of those items run up to 50k in cost.. by lookin at your hps at lvl 50, id say that would or should be your main focus atm.. more HPS is needed at any level, whether now, or later, yer gonna have to get that number around 1500-1600 ish at 50+...

Id get rid of the effects with II in it, since it only works for spells up to lvl 40 and yer already in 50's. Exception of course is regen stuff, but from the looks of it a couple items yer wearing now is stuff that will be obsolete to you if its not already..

heh, the one with improved damage 2, and affliction efficiency 2 could be swapped out for something with more hps, mana or int.. If you can find somethin with iv4 like the belt for improved damage 4 that ll help with taps and nukes and what not thtas cool, theres the ceramic gavel of justice or somethin like that that I just bought last night that has affliction efficiency 4 on it that is range/primary usuable that works as well.. was nearly 10 k on TM server. But the two items as far as I can see in your gear, needs to be replaced with somehting that ll take u into higher lvls, if u cant find focus effect items in your range, go for something with hps + mana + int then..

Well I went the regen way so that there would be little to no downtime while keeping my mana regen spells on me.

I'm good on mana most of the time while hunting. Usually takes 2 or 3 mobs at one time to get me down on mana but I still regen it pretty fast.

I think HP regen is very important for the Necro. I haven't gotten to the high-end of the game with him yet but for the first 43 levels HP regen has been fantastic!

I also tried to keep my saves up. That has helped me a lot too now that I'm fighting casters more and more.

nice choice for the most part on your gear..
Only thing Id wanna change is maybe the shield and maybe get an Orb of the infinite void gives u 35 ac, 75 hps, 75 mana and 5 int at around 3-5 k in price, it would be a logical upgrade to your ornate shield. Tacticians bulwark would also be a considerable upgrade, (I upgraded the ooiv with the tacticians). Only thing I dont see is a burning affliction item, which if you look under quests here, you ll see the coldain military guard (wrist slot) piece has burning affliction 3, which will carry you to lvl 60 spells. That would also be a logical upgrade to your golden bracer if u choose to do the quest, which would be more than worth your while.

The aeII effect is good for us IMO until we get embracing darkness (63). I used dooming darkness until then. Casting haste and ae is fine with just the 2nd IMO until then. If you can darkness something, you can kill, it's that simple (unless it summons)... although it's nice to have a general spell haste, it's not necessary really. Wyrl has spell haste from his primary, and burning affliction. Mana preservation (ODS or ornate arms, etc) should be something you are looking for IMO. Obviously if you can get a a level 4 focus, that is ideal...but by no means are the others useless, until then. Until you round out your spell book post 60, you'll still use alot of low-mid level 50 dots, so level 3 effects are still viable for generally quite a while. I still use pyrocuor and splurt on raids heh(for reference).

Thanks Komp on the feedback. I'll see if I can get some friends to help me with the wristguard. Doesn't look too hard really. I've had that ornate shield since level 1 so I guess I've just kinda held onto it by default. I'll look at the 2 options you suggested.

You're looking good, Komp. I need more focus items but I think I'm obsessed with HP regen right now. Trying to get ready for my 49th. level Lich spell. heh Only 2-3 adventures away from getting a regen augment with my points and an item to put it into.

I am currently guilded with Blood Honor who im very happy with , i actually have never raided with Night Raid but they do a great job and help out alot of people on drinal and alot of guildies raid with them quite frequently, i have just never had a chance to raid with them. I am far from uber but you can check my magelo, other then ornate ( I got as drops ), most of my items can be found in bazaar.

I went for Hp/Sta/Int. Still need to get onrate arms for MP4, any my stats will be where i want them. Will be using augments from ldon to bump up my resists as i get them and update the magelo file. Havnt really updated the augs i have yet.

I can advise changing the Crash earing for a Bloodmetal Earing of Engagement, unless your working on resists. Valorium Ring of the Gallantry ant a bad choise either if you want more hp/mana either.

Once you get planar power your int will cap at 355, not 305 anymore..so I don't suggest ditching int for stamina at this point. I do however suggest either,
Ornate robe, Sanguine robe (if it's droppable on FV), or the MM ldon robe. If you can get ceramic shackles of torment I'd put that in your range. And augment your MM robe with regen 5 and a 40hps augment. Ornate wrists have ft 2 on them and that makes them very nice, I think alot of people wear bracers of energy or something close and they seem ok. Belt of dwarf slaying, ornate or earthweave pants, and the earring from paffa in CoD. Ceramic skull of decay should find itself into your backpack for those times when you need a faster casting darkness.
If your spell book is upto date on your magelo, the best recommendation I can give you is to work on that more, not having horror and BoT leaves a TON of dmg out of your arsenal, and I think those 2 additions would help your gameplay most.
You have good gear, pick up a spell haste..and improve your hps/mana when ya can and you should be gtg.
