VZ

A few weeks back I was told i could find a good VZ strat on the boards, and I've searced far and wide and cant find it :(. If anyone knows where it is, a link would be appreciated :D . Thanks

Vallon Zek is gimp. The whole 'running faster' strat is stupid imho. Just pet pull VZ's out one at a time and kill them until you get the right one, which spawns more, and repeat.

Set up raid in north east corner. Raid kills first VZ and spawns the mirrors. You move to the center of the north wall.

Summon your spell level 48 pet. Give it convic, wunshi, fortitude, a rune, and soe. FD and then send in your pet, and the instant he gets agro use /pet hold followed by /pet follow in a hotkey. That gets jabober running back to you. If your tank is on the ball he'll agro off VZ or his mirror before the pet dies and you won't need to resummon and rebuff before the next round.

The reason you FD first is so that if the pet dies too close to the other mobs you won't bring all the damn things at you or your raid.

Pet pulling completely trivializes this encoutner, which is otherwise only hard due to the number of TZ's.

I looked at your magelo, were you talking about the one in Time and not Tactics? :)

VZ doesn't hit that hard, last time we just had 5 tanks each target one and all pulled at the same time. Just make sure DPS follows MA.

Maybe you were askin about a solo strat for TZ?

I doubt highly Firestormers needs a strat for Time mobs.

I wrote that whole thing and then looked at his magelo, so now I think he was probably looking for a solo strat to vz in tactics. I'd like to see the one in time soloed /giggle

If I remember, the thread on soloing VZ was on the old (now non-existant) necro.eqclasses site. I don't remember one here.

I'm not in FS anymore, and I mean't a solo strat for VZ in potactics, not TZ. I would do it purely just for fun, but seeing as its on the old non existant site now, thats ok.
