Practice Research

Hey,

I've been looking for the quest where you can get the Tome of Research I and II so you can do practice research. . .does anyone know where I can find information about this quest? I looked on Allakhazam's but cannot find it.

Its worth mentioning that very few people do practise research, as most often it winds up being much harder and more expensive than just researching spells with dropped or purchased words.

I got my info long ago from eqtraders.

On Firiona Vie where I play, vendor diving has proven to be useless and I actually have been doing the practice runes. So far, up to level 62, it hasn't been too bad. I used training points to 21 and went right to training runes.

Zombie skins--fairly plentiful in Unrest
Wasp wings--I paid a simple-minded ranger to assist me in my mastery of evil by paying him to buy them from the Kelethin vendors for me--cost me 10 pp :)
Spiderling silk--Any newbie zone
Rawhide armor--Timorous Deep undead or buy it from the vendors there--as an Erudite necromancer I was able to buy from the elven barkeep.

For journeyman runes, I paid my trusty ranger slave...err..employee to buy pixie wings for me, as Equestrielle severely reprimanded me for entering Lesser Faydark without her permission. Burned out lightstones and bat fur arent too hard to come by. My plan is to get to 100 and then switch to swatches. Hope that helps :)
