Is Kael Farmable/Huntable?

I've never tried it, but I really need that faction for the Coldain and I could use a possible silk drop for the armor quest. Does anyone know of we as 65 Nec's can farm/hunt in Kael and if so, how deep can we go in? What do we hunt and where? What tactics should be used when hunting in Kael?

I have been all the way to the arena solo. It takes some time getting there, but it is definitely doable with a sufficiently cautious / careful necro. It is best if you bring a slower like a shammy, but even without one we can do ok in kael.

If you working on faction the arena would be the best place to do it or just hail a few of the guilds that kills Vindi, SORZ & AoW which gives big hits to Coldain & CoV

Arena mobs summon, although they don't hit very hard....you'd probably need atleast velious quest gear or better to be successfull at it.
It's another of those "once you can do it, there's no reason too" things.

Before the arena, in front of the bank or something is just straight root rot, or kiting, and anyone can really do that.

At 65, it would be just as easy to do the research. Grab some 65's friends and goto the plate house. One group of 65's with a slower and cleric and at least some form of crowd control (even if it is yourself). And you can run the platehouse cycle easy. Its fun, it will drop all the sets of armor. Raises faction pretty quickly. And very easily invised in to the point you could move all your alts there and twink them with velious gear.

there are some mobs that see invis near arena, so gettin a low lvl by them might be tricky..
