Lich Changes

this is kinda two-in-one, but the vote is more on the illusion part

i can't think of any downside to being able to zone with lich (and may be worth putting on the list even if you disagree with the illusion part), though feel free to comment if you see any

many of us would like new lich models, but, even if SOE says okay, it'll take a while

here's an idea for a temp-fix... somewhat cosmetic, but also an issue i run into with a lot with necros in raids... they have to constantly reshrink (if the raid calls for it) due to zoning and toggling lich

introduce two new spells as alternates (like the old skellie vs. non-skellie nukes we have)

one as a new parchment turnin that's a non-illusion version of SoS and another that's a greater turnin (throw it at the end, so no one get's pissed) that's a non-illusion version of DP

I'd like this grouped under cosmetic issues, and just make that broader vice using another selection of our list.

I agree with the idea, but noway should this take a slot by itself.

I like the consolidation and I think this is top ten worthy. Could always lump something like this with say pet models and sounds, then it would be 4 items basically about the same general thing (kinda).

I like the illusion too.. all id go for personally would be showing robes in lich form

I'd rather see different pets than different lich models. Maybe its my inner mage, but can't we have Skellies, Spectres, Mummies, and Zombies?

voted against it. Though I only don't want the illusion removed. I'd love zoning with lich.

i realize many people like the lich illusion (even the current one)... that's why i was suggesting the extra-spell idea... it's your choice which one you want to use

They should give us the option of choosing an illusion lich and a non illusion one BUT they should not make the lvl 70 version a rune turn in.Glowing runes are a bitch to get.

I Still think that the Highest lich what ever it is, I'd be fine with it changing everytime the lvl changes. Any how I thin the highest lich should make you look like one of the Tribunal (from PoJ)

Enchanters had to aquire a Greater Rune for their lvl 69 slow. To be quite honest, Greaters are almost harder to get than Glowing Runes, so having to aquire another Glowing Rune is really kind of a trivial matter.

Please don't. Just take a look at an aneuk and choose again. That's what I call a modest necromancer outfit. :D

i think they'd have to... if the method was any easier than the current one, people would bitch

it's basically like the non-skellie-inducing nukes we got way back, an improved and thus harder to get option

I don't dislike the illusion of lich (except the spectre one, I hate that one a lot). I don't really see a reason that I would need to zone with lich.. with the exception of raids, I lich up right before I start pulling/splitting.

my main complaint was from a raid pov... when we raid we typically hit a good 10+ zones in any given evening... which means a constant recasting of lich and shrink

if a alternate non-illusion lich was available (keep the old ones too), and you could zone with lich still active, it would save a bit on those recasts... far from essential, but a nice option

I think you would see (and I hate to say this) a lot more dead necros from forgetting to click off lich. I wouldn't be one of them..(hehe). I would like to see them do away with the spectre lich illusion....it looks cool and all but you cannot use that expensive mount while in it. Just make us skellies all the way thru or make our highest level lich spell turn us into something way cool. No real ideas on the last part but you get the jist.
