I was just looking over the rankings at eqplayers and noticed that the most AAs that any necro has is 2,336 AAs.I assume this player is a GM or something but his profile is not public.Even if it has to do with a bug from eqplayers I noticed alot of necros over the 1,393 AA limit.

I think you can go slightly over the limit with flags or quest AAs, but it doesn't account for that kind of discrepancy. There's a lot of bugs like that - research skill shows things wrong on search, there's a mage with some combat skills well above the max possible for mages, etc. While I think a lot of this is just bugs I am pretty sure there are going to be some hackers/cheaters caught out with this. Anyone want to start searching level 1 players with no drop PoP or Qvic gear on them? I'm sure they haven't all been banned yet. :D

Their database is SCREWED UP. Period, fullstop.
My character was shown as a member of his prior guild, with a manticore mane equipped in his secondary slot.
I've been an unsworn member of my current guild for nearly a month now, and manticore manes are not equippable. I'd assert that I'm not a hacker, but anyone who glanced through my gear would be laughing to hard to seriously believe I'd cheated to get that level of gear. I wouldn't believe anything that site told you - it follows too closely in the vein of standard SOE releases: Premature, buggy, and overhyped. Magelo should probably be worried about the long-term future of their enterprise, but they've still got a little bit of time before SOE gets it together.

Some char slots are messed up (I have gnomish heat sources in my secondary slot), and the data on the site is odd. It says I'm missing spells that I got months ago (ldon chest spells in this case) and some skill numbers are way off. I'd sy that they pulled char infor from a long ass time ago, and it hasn't been updated.
Given the inability of it to display much of the desired information that lucy does, it's not only not a replacement, but actually far worse than lucy for item details. Given the stagnant lack of updating char info it's worse than eqrankings (which is bad itself due to ppl not updating and perhaps fake profiles). Also, many of the ranking searches are unable to complete due ot missing data. For some reason even the linked example one necromancer hp/mana returns bad information, claiming that we all have 0hp/mana. Oh well. I don't know what kind of image you can use for bio, but gif/png/jpg won't upload in the correct pixel size. The site's still slow as heck too.
So what's good about it? It does have an advanced search for items, which lucy may lack, but you'll want to pop on over to lucy to really look the item. It lets you browse through other ppl's inventories and banks by default, which is fun for the voyer in you. Other than that, ummm, I dunno.
It's just buggy .. like anything else with SOE stamped on it. They test stuff internally, push it live, and all hell breaks loose. I don't understand it. I've had plenty of jobs that distinguished between *good effort; bad result* and *bad effort; bad result* but it's always been clear that there's only so much bad result the 'suits' could handle, regardless of the effort. Are they union or something? Why don't they fire idiots like every other company in the world?
Give it a month and a dozen patches before you judge it.

A good alternative and free place to search for items is 13th Floor (http://eqitems.13th-floor.org/advsearch.php)

I don't understand how these wrong items could show up in the first place. Aren't they pulling the info out of the character database? I mean it's not that some stupid dude is hacking all info in there by hand, or is it?

As for going over on AA. If you wait to do your epic 1.5/2.0 untill after you have maxed aa (including banked) you can go 15 aa over the banked limit of 30 - giving you 45 banked. This is the only way around that limit that I know of.

The interesting thing about it all too is that if you click through and find the guy on his guild's list, it shows him with 1,363 AAs anyway.
(Oh yeah, did I mention I find it super gay that the poor guy has a private profile and we can all see his AA on the leaderboards and in his guild list?)

i will definately not pay a dime for this shitty quality.
and the functionality is even worse than the user sites out there.
sony had just 1 advantage: auto-upload and quality of original data.
and exactly this is what they screwed up totally. how could somebody be such silly???
however , i saw i am #4 on my server regarding AA. so now #1 thats a goal
and yes, 2k AA is a bug, its something about 13xx. so just about 100 more to go.

I was quite surprised to find my necro was in the top 80 on my server Leaderboard and pretty amazed that my bard was #30. I never raid.

Many ppl are showing up with 0's for stats, since they haven't run /eqplayers update yet.
So, just like eqrankings, eqplayers leaderboard is also unreliable.

Heh... hardly. The difference beween my bard at #30 and anyone in the top 5 is about 4000 hit points. And, that there are bards on my server as low as level 11 in the top 100.
I wonder if that is true on all servers. Gonna go check.

Yea-EQplayers is unreliable.
I learned because all my guildies were bragging about what rank they were...
So, I did /eqplayersupdate to figure out where I was and I ranked LOWER than a friend who I had more HP than. Funny that he has less HP but is ranked better than I am in HP.
Oh well, something else that sony has effed up.

Apparently, guild tribute (and possibly self tribute) will be added to your stats. I know mine is showing +150hp, and guild trib was running when i /eqplayersupdated.

Indeed, guild tribute and self tribute are added to your eqplayers profile, as well as group leadership and raid leadership AA.

It has potential I guess but as it stands I'm really disappointed. My friends profile had meat in her finger slots (joke in there somewhere) and a potion in her ear
I still enjoy Magelo, where I can customize my background and I don't have to wait 24 hours if I want to update it (OCD).
I have /eqplayersupdate 'd and my profile is maybe 1% correct. The bank is pretty accurate, but it shows most of my slots as empty or filled with unequippable items like Ethereal Parchments.
