When i dinged 59 i rushed to get my spectre pet and thought it was so cool. But after a while you look at the graphic and are going insane wondering when they will update it. Anyone else feel they should revamp spectres and make them look new and scarry or is it just me. :D

Falls under the category that most things cosmetic do for me- don't really care enough to be bothered with worrying about it til they decide to overhaul the entire graphic engine.

Yeah, it'd be cool. Yeah, it'd be easy enough for them to do.

But, like so many small, simple fixes... it'll take forever and a day.

I wish they just fixed, like, a few small things per day. How cool would that be? A tiny little patch every day and some fixes.

As much as that would improve gameplay, you'd have a riot from the folks whose traderbots would get booted from server downtime on a daily basis...

I just found that the necro hasnt been updated with anything short of spells in a while. Maybe a few of the skeli illusions changed and pixels went down with graphics but no real changes. So i think the pet and maybe even something unique for a necro horse :P . But its mainly the spectre that looks like something out of cartoon network if you dont count the scythe :)

Necro horse? I don't find myself using the horse I have..

All in all, as much effort SoE puts into "fixing" crap that really doesn't need fixing and completely ignoring things that are straight up broken, I wouldn't be surprised to see them do something absurd like changing graphics on higher level pets.

I swear the SoE devs ride the short bus to work. I can't blame them too much though, they really probably only address issues handed down as corporate mandates on issues they need to work on.

Let's say they fix all the issues, balance the classes, make everyone in EQ happy.. what would you want your high end necro pet to look like? A new spectre model? A superfly skellie? A vampire or some other undead minion?

Hell, I can barely see the little bugger when I shrink him down! Stick to the pipe dreams and if one day you wake up and all that irks you is your pet model, get those suggestions in to the devs. :)

It'd be nice if they did things like Blizzard. One patch a week, on wednesday morning.

They could add story-line, fix bugs, update "little things" to make communities happy, and perhaps even create a GM event or two. Small additions of content...

Don't really care for the pet look at the moment but it would be nice if they could enhance his abilities or give us aa's to do that. (along the lines of damage mitigation)
