Gangrenous Touch.. is it worth it?

I comb the bazaar regularly looking for spell bargains. I've occasionally seen Gangrenous Touch going for 6-7K...

Is Gangrenous Touch (which unless I'm missing a point of the spell, seems to be pretty much a disease based Touch of Night) still useful (even situationally) or is this a spell that has been made pretty much obsolete by the newer expansions?

Still useful in situations where a mobs magic resist is high and it's disease resist is low. Get it.

Agreed with Doomfir. Rarely will the same mob resist both disease and magic.. I researched mine by the way... insane prices on Terris thule server too

There are specific mobs where this is almost the only spell you will get to land, these mobs are few and far between so it makes paying more then a couple thousand plat for the spell hard to justify sometimes.

I suggest researching it

If you dont raid much or at all chances are you will never truly NEED this spell.

Not bad for PvP though since most dont have great disease resist
