I had horse before back in 2002-2003. I'll never spend that kind of money on a nag again, lol. When I played my cleric, I needed it. Now, if I need to sit med (at my level) I deserve to die.

Personally, i love my 100k drogmor ;)

With Demi-Lich i get better mana regen when kiting then with arch lich.

That and for some reason there is very little knockback from mob melee on mounts. I cast up my drog when aggro kiting and then cast my demi lich cap and if there is like 2 seconds left and the mob starts beating on me, i dont get interupted.

Free mounts are always a good thing, although the argument for new pet models was just made irrelivent with this new addition imho....

starting up a level 1 caster with a mount is like PLing...no interupts, and better hp/mana regen at all times :P

PERFECT for the newbie necro tap tanking while Jabober kicks the crap outta stuff.

Wonder if there is a choice of color? imagine if they put it on the box....lol...the gimp color would never sell :lol:

For the record I am not disagreeing with the substance of your argument. Any caster I start gets a mount at level 1.

detail: Being mounted gets you sitting mana regen, but standing health regen.

Beyond that, I am jealous.. I could never get the starting/stopping down and I just kite on my olde feets. Well.. that and the primary places I do so at this time are indoors.

Back OT.. no one knows. I would point that art being concept art only. I think SOE is wising up on mount speed, they are even allowing for the possiblity of Tinker upgrades to Roboghey.

Have they said this is "free in the box"? Perhaps it is more the WoW model.. a horse that you you can get. And at higher levels, and for higher cost, it's a better horse. Yes, I think they just said "there is a new horse".. nothing about how you will get one, that I have seen.

Greig drops the same chain bridle you can buy.

The big kids drop "Ornate" chain bridles which you cannot.

I do not know if the Ornate Chain Bridles are sellable to the stable NPCs.

Feli, to answer your question, yes, they said these "warhorses" are the /claim reward for buying the box in the store. I use the term "warhorses" loosely.

They look more decorative then anything else. I'd rather have the Boar...but I'm glad I have my Seru horse, I think I'll be keeping it..reguardless of the functionality of the "my little barbie warhorse" that comes with the box.

Personally I wonder why people complain about getting a free mount just for getting something you know your going to get in the first place. Of course though I have so many characters that I only have 1 free spot on either of my accounts. So a free mount saves me 20k in the long run (10k each) and toons that normally wouldnt get a mount for awhile gets one early. I'm just glad the reward is not some faction mod item that I never use, or some potions that I still have sitting in my bag (why I gave them to my necro I dunno).
