We are still investigating this, we have been for some time. We can't take the assumption that all of these records are false and not display them, we need to determine which are false and remove them without dropping the accurate listings. We have seen this post, we are aware of the issue, we just don't have any news for you right now.

She never did any Research.. she shows as 254. Does that help?
Do you think it will take 18 days for them to reply again? Could it possibly have taken them 18 days to know nothing for such a simple problem?

That she shows a skill of 254! My Guild's current Researcher has spent in excess of 1 million play reaching that point, so I guess I should start playing my Mage on Bristlebane again and make a killing selling spells.

I bet a ton of people with 0 in the skill were bumped to 254 due to a flustercluck update. Yay.

Anyone know if this problem isolated to the FV server?

There has been a recent influx of players selling GoD spells on Tunare, basically the market is ruined. What's highland sludge? I haven't seen any in a month...

Back when the lists were free the 254 problem was present on all servers I checked. If it hasn't been fixed on FV I don't imagine it was fixed on the other servers as well.

The recent influx is as likely to be from ineffective or incomplete rollbacks from the beta NPCs being on live for an hour as it is to the 254 bug though, if it is something underhanded happening.

I don't know about an influx of spells...guildie of mine pretty much cornered the researching market by buying any runics that dip below 10k and then proceeding to make every, single GoD spell there is, at least once, and then remaking the ones that sold within the first day over and over again, then fewer copies of the ones that sold a few days later, etc, etc.

I heard there was some bug that actually bumped some people up to 254 research, but I had dismissed it as an isolated instance of one person. If ALL these people are bugged researchers....I hope we don't get another double exp weekend after they attempt to "fix" the problem.

And, back to FV, Selka got 357 Runics sold to her buyer last night. So making spells is easy..

The FV market is just me and Selka. always has been, there are 1-2 other researchers that put up a spell in baz from time to time, but usually 1 or 2. Getting 357 Parchments? Must have been a night I wasnt in trader, I always bought higher than you, but I wasnt in trader all the time. I find more issue finding friggen Saltpeter myself, and I dont want to be bothered with farming it. Spell research really is a Gravy Train with Biscuit Wheels as far as profits go.
