Well since the fear parthing warping annoying bug has yet to be fixed we have had to rely on another tatics for exping.

I myself have done a bit of aggro kitting along with some root/rot...however i have found that the best one so far was fighting things we are good at: undeads.

Since level 34 i have been fighting them...I have reached level 46 and DL plaguebone thiefs and Kaesora undead no longer give me good XP (not even 1% each kill, something like 1% every 2-3 kills).

I have searched the web for some other undead at my level and i have found a few so what i want to know from you guys is if you ever tryed to camp the undead in Traks Teeth and/or Scarlet Desert and if so, which one is better and safer to camp?

Thanks!
Sal

The entrance to the mausoleum in Trak's Teeth was kind of fun, though I didn't get there until level 51 so it was going light blue. AFAIR you can sit at the top of the steps and single-pull the undead as they walk past the bottom. The casters could be a pain, but, once slowed, the melees were basically trivial with the 49 pet... I had to heal Boner when I pulled one of the high-level (45-ish) melees, but the others barely hurt it.

Biggest problem was looting, as if they ended up dropping their corpse outside beyond the steps it was real easy to pull several while looting. Usually I just let them rot unless I was sure it was safe, since it was only a few pp per kill.

Might be worth considering the Taskmaster room in Echo Caverns if you can get it. I don't know how easy it will be to pull, but again the Taskmaster didn't do much damage to the 49 pet once slowed and dotted, so the 44 can probably tank it too.

The sun revenants in SD are ok. I wouldn't pull a sun reaver though without being able to fear them. They could really put a hurting on you.

Are the Reavers the ones on the plateau? They were a pain, they resisted a lot and broke fear real fast... and if I let the pet tank after slowing them they'd dot it (of course maybe with decent disease resists that wouldn't be a problem).

Yeah, they're on the plateau...people tell me they're a royal pain in the ...

I dinged level 60 on the Sun Revenants on top of the plateau if that gives any indication of an appropriate hunting lvl for them. Anything from 49 up can do them but they do resist snare a LOT and you really do need to fear kite them since they will eat through most pets fairly easily until 59.

Worth it for the exp if you can do them though.

I also killed the undead near the EJ zone in TT and although they were really fast exp they stopped being good around lvl 51 or so I think it was.

I went to TT and tried a few of the undead near Sebilis entrance. There is a safe spot where you can pull them and once slowed, the 44 pet will destroy them.

I just had a bit of trouble fighting the keepers since they are casters and will nuke you for 300-350+ damage. Nothing a tap can't fix, but it's annoying.

However, now at 47 things aren't that good anymore, so i went to OT near FM zone and it went quite good! Made 43% of XP in 1 1/2 hours or so.

Fear still bugged tho :(

Thanks for the replies!

/agree with Ahura on both accounts.

I did Spectrals in TT kinda around lvl 50 + or - a few, if I rememebr correctly. Mostly did the ones just to the left coming in from EJ. I was really surprised when I discovered they single pull, their spells are kind of nasty if you're not careful to get enough taps in.

Was in SD on the plateau, though I found the xp started to slow down around high 50s. Good pathing here, easy to kite these things around, and they have pretty low HP for the level, even if they do cast lots of nuisance spells. Just had FD up in case of a snare resist on pull, and used Dooming Darkness a lot instead of Cascading cuz I could get them resnared before they hit me with the shorter cast time.

Personally there are only two times I've ever used Cascading Darkness: on the dock people in Twilight Sea, where it's never resisted and, combined with the pet, it does all the damage you need to kill them and snares them when fear-kiting, and in an LDoN where the tank died and I just root-dotted the mobs to death with the highest damage spells I could find. Otherwise the recast time makes it non-viable on any mob that can resist it.

An area you may like to consider is the 6th floor of ToFS before you get to the Val'Sera Area.

The shadow beasts are all undead and slowable with level 39 slow. The 44 and 49 pet eat through them pretty fast. I still hunt there at 53 for some decent AA exp. Its also rarely camped. I tend to stay away from the Icy shades as some are casters and while not difficult to kill tend to slow you down abit, when compared to the shadow beasts.

Hope this helps.
