I did the standard batwing crunchies(while fishing) and then patty melts to 190 baking, and since I hate halas 10lb pies(the sub-combines take too much time) I was wondering if anyone knew of a fast easy way for a lazy necro to get more baking skill. I can farm just about anything (I think) and what I can't farm I'll just /bazaar. I haven't done many tradeskills to this degree (research is 200, but that's about it) so I'm looking for some advice, thx

Well, your fishing must be good and if it is not max, combine the 2. Fish in the Plane of Storms at the zone in and then make Breaded Storm Salmon (http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=6468&menustr=080020900000), Triv 215

post 215 options (both recipes trivial over 250)
Boar Chops
boar meat from plane of tactics or buy it in the bazaar
garnish (vendor bought)
spices (vendor bought)
Jord Meat Pie
jord meat from BoT or buy it in the bazaar
pie tin
clump of dough (egg (foraged or buy in the bazaar ), flour (vendor bought), milk (vendor bought)
Note on eggs: look for drake, wurm or dragon eggs.. they'll net you 15ish clumps of dough per egg.

The mushrooms are foraged in most luclin zones (besides nexus or bazaar) and Veksar... guess you will have no problem finding 'em in the bazaar tho.

For the Bread Crumbs.....maybe you can do what I do.
I have a host of toons I trade with and maybe you can find a 200+ forager to help, saves on the plat.
One Druid I trade with forages components for the Blessed Fishing Rod and we split the profits from my Bazaar Mule.....he can't maintain a stable connection in the bazaar and therefore doesn't keep a trader up. He supplies just about 90% of the components, I combine and sell.
Another wanted to use velium to push Smithing to GM Status....so I traded velium loot from Velks Roof and temper I made for research components....I make a lot selling spells...well worth the effort.
If you can find something you can do or something you have that someone else wants or needs.....you can set up a nice network of friends to trade with. It might appear to be a lot of work but combined with your own trade-skilling, leveling or AA exp.....it can work well.
PoW fish (breaded) trivs at 222...aye, another good choice.
I suggested Fish because you can combine 3 skills in one to level up:
Fishing
Baking
Begging.....aye, beg from your pet while fishing.....slow but it works.
Boar Chops and Jord Meat Pie are both good also...easy to find the meat on npc vendors as most people sell off as fodder.
For something a little more complicated....about the same as Obasha Truffles but is always welcome especially if you pass out to people before a raid is "Holy Cake", triv 242...+5 to all saves. People love free resist food...I am still amazed how many EQers do not use food and drink to boost stats.

I'm liking the charmed tortured soul killing pigs in tactics and combining the boar meat atm. I got 20 meats pretty easy, and killed a few frenzied mobs that each dropped spectrals...not great loot by anymeans but my friends still need some spells so it's all good =). That and I just like charming...exp was so-so, the ogres seem to be faster for that.
