Directions

So Alla's says that Elldar Forest is connected to Ruins of Tak'ish, wanted to go explore. According to forums on Alla's for that zone the ZI should be some glowing flame thingy, NW(ish) from the South Ro ZO/ZI... I spent better part of 20 minutes searching everywhere from middle of zone to northern part with no luck... any hints?

The zone in to Elddar is near the arena looking things...on the opposite side of the zone from the zone in. There is a platform with orangish light, that is the zi.

I believe mapfiend also has PoR maps now. Then when you zone into Tak the zone to Elddar will be right on your map and much easier to find :D

Elddar.. /shudder.. tis a silly place. I had the displeasure of doing the flag mission there the other day. I can honestly say I hated this zone about 2 minutes after our second wipe. Horrible pathing, the *%#$ing root AE really had me fired up, and the effect of seeing Treants wore off pretty quickly.

From what I was told, once you get done with that keying mission, you never have to back there. Trust me, I never will. Took 12 of us 4 wipes and a handfull of random deaths to beat it finally. Ultimately, when it was all over, the craptacular loot that dropped rotted. Was some garbage caster wand with like 130 mana on it. Even the guy 5 boxing didn't want it for any of his alt army.

All in all, quite the unstellar experience. I wish I had more hands, so I could give Elddar 4 thumbs down!
