So what do you think. Is this good or bad for EQ?

Depends on who they replace him with. I'll take his job, I've been thinking a 100 mana / tick for 50 HP lich would be a fair upgrade for Necros. Also, Necromancers should get a 2k lifetap that costs 700 mana to casts, but leeches mana at 200 / tick for 4 ticks, for a net increase of 100 mana.

Or you can get yourself some worn regen and not have to worry about the dot, or making retarded statements as such.

You will, no doubt, be pleased to hear that Folger's Crystals now come in decaf.
Please visit http://www.folgers.com/ for future updates.

Folgers tastes like shit anyway, there's far better coffee brands out there.
You seem on edge lately Xel, everything alright?
Everything's just peachy- I'm simply making up for not being as much of an asshole lately as I normally have been. Can't disappoint the fans now, can I? And what better opportunity to be as such, than when someone makes a retarded statement in vain effort to be cute.

I pulled this from a message board about PoR Enchanter spells...I guess in this case it was Sony trying to be cute.
Mindshatter: A new dot. No DD component. Mana cost is 525 mana. Spell does 435 damage per tick for 6 ticks plus a mana tap recourse of 50 mana per tick for 7 ticks. Without any focus effect or specialization calculated in that makes this spell cost 175 mana for 2610 damage. (mob has to have mana for this to work)
True, my examples were far too powerful. At the current rate of increase, when we get a lich that gives 100 mana / tick, we will also lose around 80 HP / tick. The Lifetap with a Mana Tap recourse could stay the way I described it, but prevent them from stacking. That way, we would be able to use that particular nuke more than twice every 60 seconds. The worst you might want to do it increase the mana cost to 1000. True, the spell would suck at tap tanking, but it would rock for kiting. Maybe I did make a lame attempt at being *funny* by exagerating the power of the spells I was suggesting, but cute is a bit of a stretch.
Tell me, how shallow does your life have to be that you troll the Necromancer message boards looking for anyone who might have made, in your opinion, a "vain effort to be cute." Unfortunately (for you), what you said didn't bother me one bit. I will continue posting to this board and will continue my "vain attempt to be cute" so long as you continue your vain attempt to be insulting.
Might I suggest that next time you try a couple "Your Momma" or "Zaxlothon so fat" jokes, I might find them a little more insulting.

Your momma is so fat, she jumped and got stuck. :P
That's a two for one (a fat joke and a momma joke!).
Anyway, Xel is working to much..and way to late. Less people to talk to make me cranky. I might actually have to leave the house to find some company this weekend. What's this world coming too?

See, now here's where we're not on the same page. I wasn't trying to insult -you-, I was simply pointing out that your statement wasn't cute, or even funny- it was quite retarded. If you choose to take insult to that, and thus make weak rebuttle- that's all fine and dandy, and quite overreactive on your part.
-----------------------
As far as the enchanter spell: So they finally get a spell that's a small ammount of dps to them, good for them. The fact it's a dot entertains me.. let them find someone to bitch at when they start breaking their own mezzes. I feel that the mana cost is a touch low for what they're getting out of the spell, but on the same token they can't lich or canni, so perhaps that balances things out somewhat. Should this spell be seen as a threat to us? No, not really, comparing this spell to Mind Wrack/Flay is akin to comparing our snares to druid/ranger snares- since a damage component is involved, some of the versatility of the spell is removed. Enchanters also don't get access to Critical Affliction, so there's some limitation to the potential of this spell as well.

Shit I'm surrounded by assholes.. Prepare for Ludicrous Speed...
OK, judge's ruling:
The "Folgers" statement was off, and the situation was further exacerbated by the "you can visit www.folgers.com for more info" closing statement.
The *effort* was there, just not the delivery or the content.
Point to Xelgadis.
By the way, for what I think is some truly hilarious writing, read Dan Kennedy's pieces over at McSweeney's at http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/frequentco...dankennedy.html (http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/frequentcontributors/dankennedy.html).

Point to Xelgadis.Awesome!
My friends and I in college for a while would award points in debates with each other. The judge would be an outside party (a friend that isn't directly involved in the argument) who would award points for a variety of things. Quality of debate was one, believability of debate was another, and of course random off the wall insults were scored very highly... was a good time :P

As someone who used to work at Wizards of the Coast, and still has nightmares as a result of his experience, linking to a fake Magic: The Gathering card automatically brings about negative karma.
Again, the effort was there--for it took time to place the link--but content is both too narrow (hobby gaming industry) as well as poorly thought-out (no one would play a double-red card (even an X card) when so many better cards are available).
Point deducted from Xislaben for the above.
Point deducted from Zorb for working in the hobby gaming industry.

Yeah, when they started charging rediculous amount of money for cards, and then a market for individual cards popped up, I said fuck it. That was just after dark or so. I did own a fork though!
