Lv 62 necro 12 aa's and wanted toi get 60k ish for a pony. i know we dont need em cause our lich form does mana regen uberly but i wated for loooks and run speed. cause u cant med when u aggro kite lol. plus it costs sow pot so i figured in the end pony would be better way to spend cash. Btw how fast pony run?

Horse is more than just looks, actually sitting on one will give you mana regen as if you where sitting down, yet you can still cast. But I would not be any-kind of kiting on horseback. They accelerate way too slow. Even the most expensive horse takes sec to get started. If you want one for looks/manaregen buy the one for like 8-10K range.

I wouldn't buy the mid-level one...either buy the cheapest one for general use in groups (heck, you could have gotten a free one with your purchase of either of the last two expansions) or buy the most expensive one (which I love btw) because that one is fast enough where you can actually kite with it fairly well...the slower ones are much more difficult to use while kiting.

As for run speed, I've seen all different percentages, so I don't know which one is correct.

Just to echo what others said. Get the cheapest or get the chain horse, anything in between is a waste of plats. If nothing else, buy the cheap horse for immediate use and save for the chain horse later.

PS I got a silk horse in SSRA camping VT shards. Very very rare drop, but it happens. Having one I can tell you I would never buy it. Would rather run the toon then horse slow :D

PSS About how to make the plat? Tons of post on the subject. Veksar is probably your best bet. Chance at lewt drops and cash drops. Plus at 62 solo exp is probably preety decent.

DId that quest in the old school zone for the horse. Its brown and i run faster than it with no speed buffs. plus the bridle only has a few charges. So i bought a white rope bridle . looks pretty cool with my white robe white horse and big ol staff. thx for the input and yes that post on run speeds is weird and confusin
