Item farming for 55...

Okay, thinking about getting a 100k horse.

I was wondering what could I farm in terms of zones/items that would sell for enough plat to start saving up for the 100k horse? I'm only level 55, but I figure there has to be some stuff out there I can camp worth value that if I did it regularly I could eventually get enough plat to buy the horse.

one thing i camped for a while was the Great Saprophyte in Echo. Make a right just before you zone into Fungus Grove and that's his room. He's a 3 hour spawn and the only MoB that drops remove curse which at the time about a year ago would sell for 6k-9k on TM. My guild did this around level 35-40. Got the whole guild the spell who needed it and we'd just sit there and XP off the boglings and when TGS spawned, whack it real quick, it's perma rooted, but has a nasty AE knockback for 35 anyways. the 55 pet can solo it without much casting, but it's always fun to break out that defoliation spell we never get to use except for the trees in PoN.

I would think that, although not great cash..it'd be decent, SolB and Lguk would be decent farming at 55. Granted your not gonna "make your first million" there, but it could fatten up your wallet a bit. Mobs near the zone in, in veksar..there's 2-3 named before the water you have to swim through, that MIGHT be doable, I'm not sure though. Farming acrylia at the zone in to acrylia caverns or in Tenebrous mountains could be decent, perhaps swirling shadows too. I'm not really to sure, sun revenants in scarlet desert are doable for sure, but the loot isn't that great, although they do drop 5-6pp and some spell research components often.

Umbrello.. If you can get a few more lvls, farming would be easy killin named in Mines of Nurga,Nurga itself is not a super high lvl zone but the nameds require a higher lvl solo to kill, and mid lvl group if yer grouping) and temple of Droga, Droga can get hairy if yer not higher lvl solo artist. Lots n lots of named drop 1-6 k stuff and spawn times usually fairly quick. Can pull around 30-40 k a week there if you play your cards right, keep in mind thats not full time camp/killing, but, like I said, its much easier if you had a few lvls on 55, like 60 ish or so. GL

How do you solo in Nurga these days? I spent a few levels fear-kiting there, but I know the pathing changes have made that difficult, if not impossible since... I've been thinking about going back at 59 to see if I can still get decent XP there. Is the pet tough enough to tank the mobs with a few heals?

Hey there, i would have to say one of the best places for a necro to farm and solo around 55+ would have to be veksar. It is the place to be if your a necro, make sure you have Shackle of Spirit spell, cause you will get destroyed if you don't use slow. Stuff here drops of named mobs that have PH's, but you can kill stuff around them to get exp as well, the undead here summon, goblins don't, and if you don't know where Veksar is it is underwater in the middle of the Lake of Ill Omen. You don't need an EB item to get here, short swim under water to ent, then swim out into zone. Now here is a pretty good map of the place at the following link. LINK (http://www.pbfirst.com/VeksarMap.jpg), Good stuff, one of most profitable things that drop here is the Soulscream belt off of shopkeeper, sells for 20k-ish on my server. Wish you luck, you may not want to do anything other than feral lord until 59, will be a bit dicey if you do. Also mobs here have a very low aggro radius and BaF radius, you can usually solo pull unless they really close. Be safe. I think this is my first post lol.

I know Droga has some pretty good drops, but they're in specific places. Anyone know a map that shows specifically where the mobs are that drop the desirable items?

Acryalia Caverns is nice for cash. Mobs drop words, pieces of acrylia, fungus cover weapons and 2-4 runes per mob that they use for their cash. The weapons go for 142pp each with 120 CHA at vendors and the runes are about 2-4pp each but you can easily get stacks upon stacks of them in 20 minutes. It gets heavy tho so have a lot of WR bags and just be careful, there are a lot of caster mobs there.

Don't know about most people but Seb is a good cashmaker sometimes but dunno at 55 nowdays but its easy enough for me at 65 55 could prolly pull it off and veksar should be decent as they said above but check out seb i have made tons of plat from there
