blue diamonds

I am looking to get blue diamonds. I know a lot of zones do drop them. has anyone noticed they drop more in one zone than others? thank you.

I used to get quite a few doing armor turn-ins from Fear and Hate. Might just have been lucky though.

Yes, they can come from those old Planar armor turn ins. Also drop from upper 50s mobs in PoN like Nightstalkers, Gargoyles and Hobgoblins.

Drop a lot in Plane of Growth, haven't been there in forever though. Was going there a lot before they put the Protectors back in.

I have had good luck with the blue diamonds in Dulak's. At level 56, can easily solo Dandolak boat. When luck was with me, i would get at least one blue per clearing of the boat. <18-ish minute respawn and 11 mobs>. Beyond the great gem/cash farming, i found subpar XP but not too shabby for AAxp-ing.

BoT, especially towers, drop a lot of gems

Dandolak was a good place to farm them at the time. Oceancrasher (or something.. been a while since I've been to Dulak) also dropped blue diamonds alot, but those mobs had a nice aggro radius. Windscorn dropped them like candy, but was annoying as the mobs on that boat aggro just as annoyingly as trash in the Tower of Solusek Ro.

PoNightmare was always good about gem drops. Nightstalkers are soso now since they added the bst epic drop to their loot tables, but hobgoblins and gargoyles are still solid.
