Hi,
I just started replaying my necro maybe a week ago. This is yet another aa point question or advice. I know what aa's to get is style of play,u raid, solo, group etc.. I tend to be a group/solo person. I havent raided in long time( I should I've been Time flaged, but never been there). I kindof like to get my final aa title, but I know I shouldnt worry bout that, and worry bout proper aa's.
I was interested in getting Life burn/Dire charm. Are those even worth the effort to pick up? Is there enough undead mobs to beable to make dire charm worthy. Was thinkin the mobs in Arcstone as possible subjects..I have 6 pts saved up,and with double exp days(I'll pretty much only see tonight, and tomorrow as my chances for the double exp,as I have to work sat/sun).
Should I just go ahead and save up the 20pts I need to max out Combat agility/combat stability?

I would value Dire Charm *probably* slightly higher than innate Wisdom... or in other words don't buy it. Life burn has its uses but unless you have a lot of hp's you won't find it all that exciting, and then it really is a just a toy or that last little bit of a boost in dps. To be dired charmed the mob has to be level 46 or less... which means that for a select few levels you might find it to be useful but overall it is a waste of aa.

Should I just go ahead and save up the 20pts I need to max out Combat agility/combat stability? Both of those are worth the expense in aa's. I would value Combat Agility (avoidance) well above Combat Stability (mitigation) - and depending on your aa situation I would value a lot of things above Combat Agility (Think I started Combat Agility when I was near my 100th aa, not sure if I would do it much before then).

Since we don't know your current aas/gear and just off your questions to sum it up:

Dire Charm: No
Life Burn: Yes if you work towards the class title, really just a toy
Combat Agility: Yes, you will need it some time.
Combat Stability: Yes, though you might find more valuable aas to buy first.

I may be way off from other perspectives here, but get Persistant Pet as soon as you can. I could not possibly live without it now that I have it. You will need to get the Suspend Minion AA's first. I personally find the key beneift to this as being that when you log off you can keep your last pet, mage toys, buffs and all. Very cool!

Combat agility, combat stability will benefit you way more than Dire Charm or Lifeburn.

Dire Charm really doesn't have any use at all. There are so few mobs that you can DC, and the amount of time you will spend in the zones where they exist is so small over the course of xping. Off hand I can't think of a single mob in Arcstone that will be DC-able.

Lifeburn is not a bad choice, but it is more of a raid AA. And, our LB does less and less against the new mobs, so it really depends on what content you are facing. If you get it for the title, you might use it if you find yourself grouping mini-nameds and stuff like that. It won't be too useful, but it is certainly better than most things on the Class tab :D
