Epic problem

I've noticed a funky epic problem, and I think the same happens with AOTD.

If I click the epic, it goes through the casting time of 0.8, but sometimes I move a little after it's been 'cast' but ebfore the epic pet shows up. This prevents an epic pet from actually spawning, and also grays out my epic so it cannot be reclicked until it refreshes.

The same thing appears to be happenning to AOTD, if I move before all 5 corpses have spawned sometimes I'll only get 1 or 2 or 3 for instance.

I've had this happen a few times with the epic pet. Especially if I cast something like WTD/AOD right before I cast it. Or if I move during the casting time.

But so far, haven't experienced the issue with AOTD where only a few corpses rise up. I usually can move around just fine after using it and corpses still rise to serve me.

Anyone have more info on this issue, so we can make an issue of it?

The AOTD is harder to confirm, as it may just be shitty SOE pathing/los that prevents corpses right next to me from rising.

The epic thing definitely does happen though.

Just a few days back I had a similar issue for the first time.

I cast AOtD and then immediatly clicked my Epic while the Army was still waking. The Epic cast and the slot greyed out, but no Epic pet popped.

i've had the same issue with the soulwhisper pet, but actually first noticed it when i first got my epic (back in september)... i assumed it was just "how it worked"

Yeah to clarify, I've had this happen first a long time ago, I just never said anything figuring you just had to stand still until the pet appeared.

Sometimes when kiting I'll cast something or use a clicky when the mob is pretty close (epic pet is short range) and I'll think better of it and move quickly. That's when I noticed this, maybe in 69.1 when DoD was new.

The zone does not matter, nor do the mobs or anything, just click and move and if timed right (or wrong, heh) no pet and grayed out epic.

I noticed that way back, I simply addressed it by not clicking my epic while Army pets were still waking. Easy enough of a fix right there. :rolleyes:

I've had it happen exlusive of the AOTD usage.

When using no other AA ability, just moving, epic is grayed out and no pet.

in general though, it would be nice if they could make it so if you don't get the pet... you don't get the timer
