Here's a riddle Batman

Where the hell does Sir Motte spawn? I've checked in East Freeport but came up empty. I've heard he spawns somewhere near Qeynos but can't confirm this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Stupid pally :angry:

Sir motte certainly spawns in FP near the docks in the bar there. first room after you enter the bar to the left. What happens is the spawns rotate every so often and eventually he will be one.

Yeah, I just wandered into the bar by the docks whenever I was in the area, and the third or fourth time he was up. Trivial kill at 49/50, the only problem I had was that one of the bards in the bar decided to join in the fight and was interrupting my spells.

i was just going to ask if there were adds, i'm assuming my ikky necro can't even walk into the bar without getting aggro

I think they'll all be way green at 59, so it's not a big deal even if they do attack you.

You will need to kill the two at the bar all the time to keep them cleared out so they dont add with mott. They agroed my DE necro too and he isnt even kos in that part of freeport with the guards.

Yeah.. at 59 you will stomp them all np.

If he's not in FP, where else could I look? Allakhazam says he spawns in 4 locations but doesn't list them. And thanx for all of the responses.

Spawns in QH, WK and Rathe also I believe...but you would need to camp with a tracker and hope you get lucky....easier to camp in bar in FP.

My FP faction is great....when I camped him at 30?, I used the tunnel under the bar as my staging point. I would run into bar (invis'd) every so often to check spawn rotation....once I learned it I was able to find a window when he was up and the 2 rotating spawns at the bar we not KoS or would aggro me....about a 5-10 minute window.

When I took him out, I made a pet and walked into bar....once he is in sight, he will aggro......I just dotted, nuked and let pet beat on him as I backed into a corner. No other MoBs aggro'd.

Been so long, forget spell line-up but it wasn't a tough fight as I remember.

This dude is a sally. I camped him early 30's too. It took me 30 mins fo waiting for him to spawn but he did spawn. I killed most of everything that popped until he came. I used the stairs as my spot. I invised and went in. Halfway up the stairs I made a pet and sat and watched. ghes so easy that at 59 you could just invis and sit and once you saw him attack him. Touch of night will pretty much drop him.

If your not worried about faction.. to speed things up take out the place holders. If you stay near the stairs the two at the bar will not join the fight. Also go upstairs and pull your pet up. Walk back down the stairs and put your pet on guard at the bottom, you walk around the corner and watch for sir Motte. When he pops have your pet atttack... it will attack right through the wall!!

Sir Motte does do a full heal at some point.

When I killed him he never got his cheal off. He was a major whimp.

I found Sir Edwin Motte in Qeynos Hills....comes thru the WK valley regularly between 4 and 6 am gametime. You can watch for him coming over the hill, by the last guard tower, just before the marker (watch out for Guard Nash who will help him even if he cons amiable to you). Pull him off the road towards North Qeynos (no adds). He will try to LoH, but fairly easy kill if you don't pull like a moron LOL :blink:
