ui question

howdy howdy yall necropheliack here from cazic thule was just wondering about the user inerfaces i downloaded one from some website i forgot and all its saved on my comp but i dont what else to do form here anyone mind explaining steps in lamens terms lol o well drop me a line be great for a little a help i downloaded a couple uis for my monk and necro and bard and all and would love to get them up and running sense i downloaded them like before last summer when i was grounded off eq lol o well drop a line on the thread if u dont mind helping me B)

When you download a new UI, take that file and put it in the folder 'uifiles' in your Everquest folder. Then when you are in the game /loadskin foldername and it will load.

So if my new skin is called 'player' I put the folder Player into the uifiles folder, and then type /loadskin Player when I'm in the game.

Careful with some of the UIs, I had one that made EQ crash out every time I tried to load until I deleted, and another that made my skills window disappear. Got a good one I like now though, finally.

woot thx so much cant wait to get on friday night and load it up just drug it over into the uifiles folder thing gonna be awesome to try it out to see if it works if it dont i guess ill try to find ya on the game but many thx for the help

I just randomly downloaded a bunch of complete sets from eq interface, no idea now the names of the two that caused me troubles. What I use now is one a friend composed from parts of several different ones found on eqinterface.

all you gotta do really is type /load and it pulls up a window of all the UI's in EQ ui folder and choose the one you want.
