Just curious if anyone has soloed in Nadox?

Probably gonna head over that way soon to check it out.
Just not sure what the exp would be like at 57 or if ts just not worth the risk.

Its my current home and I love it. XP isn't as good as the Planes (its about 3 kills for 1% (I'm on 80%XP/20% AA atm) but the other benefits make it my preferred place to XP.


1) Vendor trash loot isn't bad for safe steady XPing (full bags & pp from an roughly 2 hour XP session net me about 1K at a vendor)

2) Frequent nameds (its all twink gear but you can usually move it in the bazaar at 6-800pp(even if you get bought out by a reseller) and its lore so you'll want to sell it fast because you'll get more quickly. I usually end a 2 hour XP session with at least 1 drop.

3) Its rarely camped

4) Not nearly as laggy as the planes for me

5) mobs don't resist much, hit in the low 100s and seem to go down pretty quickly

I solo there at 65, CoB pet tanks the undead and slowed Luggald well. I dont think your 56 minion pet will have what it takes to tank the undead, but there are a couple tunnels that have enough room to kite in. A partnership with a slower is what I recommend and work on the trolls in the cave and rooms close to the large hall with campfire. I used to bring a group of people ranging from 50-65 and the 50ies would always comment on how they loved the XP.

My Fav zone at 65 in LoY is Hate's Fury. Since there are many who are not undead though on that ship, it is best to bring a slower. All the mobs are still dark blue and some of the loot is decent to own. The earring of cognizance and the trident of hatred that drops there come to mind. Very rare loot to find in the bazaar.

My biggest problem is finding a shammy who wants to go there, so I started my shammy this week.. Looks like I will be two boxing in order to farm the way I want to.

Yeah HF or Hates Fury rocks for ease of killing vs XP. One key to hates I found is pacify and pull singles. Find a luller or packer and a slower and you can own hates.

I havent been back to HF in a long time and was wondering if you happen to know if there are DC mobs there? I think I could get by without a slower if I had a DC pet I could buff up.

at the succor point near torgirans mines are shrine bruisers that can easily be soloed as low as 52. by the time i got to 57 the exp wasnt the greatest (not sure if it was because im an iksar or they just didnt exp as well). but the mobs there can be fear kited. Not sure about any other camps there for a pre65. at 60 i still have trouble with killing even the undead. and without slow the live mobs can tear through pets easily. I think i would agree that a duo is much better. But yes the exp is good if not quite planes exp.

I have been to nadox recently. The loot is about what was stated above and exp is slow at 61. There is a spot just past the lava bridge ( on my in game map it is labeled "safe spot" ) and tucked in the corner behind a boulder where you can med. Most of the trolls are single pullable except the two by the fire but fd split works for them. I pull with devouring darkness lay on FP and send my pet this lets me keep aggro. Once I get back in the corner I hit him with fear and add another dot ( I use dark plague or vexing depending on health ) they path back towards the fire. They should be dead before they get there. If they are not I use neurotoxin to avoid the adds from the fire pit unless both of them are dead first. There is one roamer kill him first then the two by the fire and then you can fear kite to your hearts content with no worrys.
