Not PC rangers, as much as we would like to...
No, this will entail what you need to kill rangers in West Commonlands, right near the druid rings, and right beside a merchant you can sell all of your fine steel weapons and gems. These guys are not only decent experience, on a 6 minute timer, and ridiculously easy, they are great cash at a constant rate. They are probably at LEAST 8pp a kill. You can easily make yourself overweight with cash.
You will only want to try this when you get call of bones and invoke fear, as you need the fear to split them, and the call of bones to keep mana up during the tight battles with time. Before then, it is very difficult.
there are a total of 4 rangers that will spawn, only one that I know of tends to be an annoying one - Ceel Moonwhisper. This one will heal, so you need to drop him quick (I found that just two spirit taps after the initial darkness / fear worked well. Sometimes I would throw Boil Blood on before the taps.), other than that the others will cast things such as Creeping Crud (dot), Immolate (dot), and root you and the pet (annoying), plus a gust of air (stun, annoying).
Anyway, on with the strat...
1) if Ceel is there, fear him first, if not pick one and fear. Ignore this one now.
2) Send pet on other, Darkness, fear. Boil Blood (or VoS, if 34, or both!).
3) wait to die since it isnt Ceel, or tap once for CoB hp (or just drop a curse on them).
4) loot and sell to Slea Pinewhisper (faction will never go down.)
5) Wait for fear to break on the first one you feared, and let them come to you, or FD, and wait for them to return.
6) If Ceel is next up: Pet, Darkness, Fear.
7) VoS or BB, tap twice. If fear is broken early, keep it on him, he will heal anywhere from 20-40% and it is a NICE heal.
8) Once he is dead you should 3 or 4 minutes in between each of the spawns to get back to a respectable amount of mana to do it all over again. I made 300pp in just an hour or so there. Not the best, but not the worst either!
Just hit 34, and love VoS... specially with some focus items.

My hero!

Not only useful info but he correctly identifies them as RANGERS!

Woot! I will have your babies now.

I talk with Warspite every day.

So, I didn't expect satisfaction.

Hehe, well I made the mistake of calling them druids in a previous post, but oh well, babies are babies...
Anyway, yes, I love killing them, am about to soon again.

Shadow Treebright will try to heal as well, as a side note - he got from 0% to 40%... good job him... a lifetap and another tick of VoS / Darkness took care of that though... =)

I used to run ahead of them (while they were Feared) and try and sit (and Med) so they would die in my lap.

So I could loot without having to move. It's a fun game.

/em cheers at %T
/say Just one more step.. you can do it!

Yep :) this was decent xp although sometimes they resisted quite a bit for me....Just my luck huh?
Anyways what you could do if you have veteran aa's like Lesson of the devoted and infusion of the faithful.....Hit infusion so that all of your skills are maxed and resists are all the way at 500 - but only hit Lesson of the devoted if you still get decent or great xp off of them since it doubles your xp :) (Lesson of the devoted rules at the hotspots!)
Have some fun everyone!
