i was wondering if i should focus on lvling right now or farm plat for my main, which is a 40 war i made this necro to farm for my main and get him armor but would it be better if id just lvl further and plat farm at an even higher lvl?

im a little confused. why you would make a necro to farm plat for your warrior seems a little odd. by the time you had your necro to a high enough level to be able to farm decent stuff, you will have put a significant amount of time into your necro. better for you to forget your warrior, who while an asset to a group, will never have the ability to roam like a real necro. :) forget plat farming and just level your necro and you'll forget all about your warrior.

I agree... I can't imagine making a necro and using him to farm for a warrior. Not that we are not the best dungeon farmers in the game, but to be GOOD as a warrior you need gear from the planes which would prove difficult for even a necro to farm. Not to mention, I think a necro is so superior to a warrior post elemental gear that it isnt funny. You will never do (even with time gear) do what necros can do.. so why waste time with a warrior? /grin

Well, I originally started playing my Necro to farm plat to buy gear for my Monk then-main after the Monk nerf... even now their gear is worth a lot more than Nigyl's is, even though I haven't played the Monk much since and Nigyl is now fifteen or so levels higher than they are.

I played both a warrior and a monk and all I can say is that my Necro is my main .
I ended up selling the gear from the both for my necro and using my warrior for sac's to get some essence emeralds. I am much happier with the necro and can do alot more with him .

I 2 box me ( necro ) and a cleric. virtue on a pet is awesome. Though soloing gets a bit lonely with only the mousey cleric it is great to know I dont have to rely on LFG. Warriors are indeed great for raids etc but I find that a necro is widely sought after for mass dmg output. I am told all the time .. " hey , I didnt know a necro can do that ! " as you grow you will find you enjoy the necro alot!

you need to make up your mind foryour self not everone can be a Necro you need to have a certan funas to control a Necro and master him . Sadly we are the most NERVED class in the game but for SOME reason we are the most powerful
your war is a lost cuas if your going to be a war you need to stop playing your necro and foucs on the class you want to play trust me trying to play 2 or 3 char's at one's is not fun and you will lose more money trying to twink them all out .
but i cant tell ya how to play or what to do we are only trying to giud you and give you advace GL with your Necro DONT give up and i hope you figuer out what your going to do
