because either you are a retard for using infussion on your clerics constantly.

or you are lying about burning that many.

or maybee you are battle rezzing? in which case you are a retard for doing it without your guild supplying all the EEs.

My guild does tacvi with 1 - 2 cleric mains. the mains are all 8k5 mana tops (one is 11k mana but frankly her mana vanishes so fast i think she is casting group bali as a heal, aka sheety cleric), and the bots range from 10k mana (one) down to 6k with all but that one being under 8k mana. No need for either twitching or infusion (save to trim down time between trash mobs before tunat) other than on the north snake. (which idk why but we can't do lol (note the sarcasm, even with that in mind we have gotten it to 17%...))

So to sum this up...

We are doing tacvi with basically all pretime geared clerics with shit for AAs. no NEED for infusion or twitching. Infusion is the ONLY "reason" for a constant use of EEs. This is why you are either a liar, or a retard.

Any questions feel free to PM, [tell povar.brahman or whatever. I'll be happy to give pointers on how to better utilize your clerics. I am lucky enough to be the official bot, errr... cleric, class leader!

EDIT::: yes i realize GoD content versus DoD/PoR is a tough comparison. but if we can do tacvi with clerics that are collectivly in sub-time gear without burning 100's of EEs a month i'm sure you could figure out someway to do it with tacvi+ geared clerics in DoD+.

Fire and Fury has always used a lot of EEs to battle rez. They offer to buy them at a far price in bulk, from time to time. Of course since Scarar buys and sells accounts, I expect it would be no problem for him to provide the less valuable ones to be sacced. When I build a guild that is by far and way the best guild on my server, and close to the top guilds serverwide (and clear 6 figures selling accounts, plat and gear *tee hee*).. then I can make fun of their raid leading.

In case you missed it, Fire and Fury has beat Mayong and was the first guild server wide to beat Daosheen ( http://www.lavanet.no/progress/ ).

There has been one guild to get a late start and end up in the top 10 serverwide. I'm pretty sure all the rest are either reformed from old uber guilds, or have been around since the start. I WILL NOT join a top ten guild, and get handed my gear to me on a silver plater. So flaming me on that topic is worth about as much as the bag of shit that is you. yes, as felicite pointed out, I feel pretty confident in calling ANY guild, that has to buy/sell/sac toons for RL cash in order to raid effectivly, a worthless guild. In effect her guild has recruited an enchanter and told them to do nothing but nuke because there are alot of adds that need to die fast or else they are going to kill everyone.

no i suggested they have very few AAs and i flat out said that all but one in reguards to hps/mana avg resists are worse off than the "current" toons would be even at lvl 65. Yes thats right a poorly geared / AAed lvl 70 toon is less useful than a lvl 65 toon thats well geared/AAed. imagine that...

thats my cleric bot. we have... 1 bot (thats actually used) that is better than her. several that are far worse. and... 3 - 4 mains that are geared better than her. but then bewteen 3 of them they have about 10% more attendance than my bot... and thats being generous.

the magelo is a bit dated. gotten her a few upgrades since but she is still under 8k mana raid buffed.

so yes jeb once again ridiculing my 40% attendance required guild, that raids 19 - 21 hours a week!!! oh yes, the fact that I don't play 50 hours a week anymore is so relavent that to my ability to discuss current content ! yeah. it kinda irks me that he seems to think thats something to hold over me. The douche prolly solo's more play time than i put in between guild management, xping, working on my meager bot, and raiding.

Tacvi+ while raiding that little, with requiring only 8 - 9 hours a week of raiding is such a show at how horrible i am !!!!! I suppose that I should have been more like you and just joined some guild that will take me cause i have 700+ AAs and good enough gear to do my job, even if my attendance will be subpar. AT LEAST I COULD BRAG THEN!!!!!!

Maeryn leveled very quickly to join a guild that she had a few friends in. They urged her to level and to apply when she did, all she did was follow along and trust their judgement. Anyone new to EQ would of done the same thing, in her position.

The MM's weren't chained or used greatly to level up. Her aa's that are lacking are lacking due to her purchasing raid centric aa's first. Again, a logical choice.

Perhaps even in your perspective she'll be an asset to the community in a short time. She definetly has show the ability to learn quickly. There's a lot to be said for that.

TONS and TONS of necro's will NOT twitch while an encounter is running, during downtime is anouther story. shame on the necro that doesn't have a hotkey to twitch 5 times and that doesn't hit that every few min during medbreaks... you know right before he goes to the bathroom.

Now about understanding the end game: most would say that I am not an end game player. I am in a family guild that raids 3-4 days a week. We just now broke txevu, we have only completed 2 MPG trials, and our average raid force is around 28-30 people. Perhapse I do have more of an understanding of the end game scenario than you do, but I am in no way an expert, and often see the game through the eyes of a lowbie rather than an end game player.

I think we've found the problem here: you are blowing this all WAY out of proportion. You are pissed at her because you think she's robbed you of something by being an MM toon. You would be wrong about that, she has robbed you of nothing. You have not been hurt in any way by the fact that she gained levels through MM's rather than through grinding velks.

In addition, you are clearly disillusioned if you think that what she is suggesting is even remotely similar to "eating babies". While I am sure you were just making an overstatement for emphasis, it is clear that you take what she says to extremes that it should not be taken.

If her opinion on how a bunch of digital signals representing a fantasy character in a fictional universe functions causes you so much pain, perhapse you should take a close look as to why you are playing this game. Clearly it isn't good for your health.

our healers were around 10k, and 2 of my current guilds "mains" are 9k5 - 10k5 now and one loots as a bot, so she isn't exactly swimming in the uber guild.

honestly the 66 - 70 heals are more of a hinderance than a help because what happens is you try to use the higher end spells and end up oom way to soon. Trying to cast a 700+ mana spell frequently with a sub 8k mana pool is a pretty poor idea... Obviously the buffs are a huge help though :)

magelo seems down... will prolly have something else to add later :)

DPS is probably what most of us want to do. However, there is A LOT of raid content that Maeryn encounters that you can't "dps" the hell out of due to mechanics of each encounter.

A few like zi, redfang and hatchet you can..tris, roley, sisters, not so much. All 3 of the bosses in RT are the same way. DPS timing the ae's on daosheen can make that unreasonably more difficult to..it's far from unique to even just DOB. Rezzing or feeding/mindflaying on those targets isn't something that strikes me as "wrong" or even out of place at all. They're scripted, you adapt or you lose.

Rants are just that..I wouldn't put much thought into what's said in them. We all know brahman is a bitter little noam, and lashes out here whenever his own board is tired of reading his ramblings.

wow. that magelo has 5 time+ items (maybee 6...) on it the rest is pretime. that toon is vt/ep geared overall IMO, it certainly is not Time+ geared. If that was the number one chanter in the guild at the time, that guild needed to be spending alot more time in PoTime/primals/ect before going after uqua+. FAR better geared guilds were getting their asses handed to them in uqua after the retune. Although its damn impressive that they managed to get either the entire guild through all the sewer trials, or droped SR with that level of gear.

That toon could have easily gained anouther 1k5 mana in just PoTime alone let alone with uqua, qvic, ITT, and txevu loot. So overall my cleric bot MIGHT be comparable to a time+ lvl 65 toon of the day. As i pointed out, she is one of our better bots at that :( So yup, i'm sticking to what i said, if anything i'm even more impressed with my guild now than i was before. :) On a side note...

The planets all lined up and all our low, low % main clerics were on yesterday and we droped yar'lir. I'm beeming with pride as it was alot of fun, and my first crack at leading a raid on a "new" target, so i just had to say it hehe :)

Oh yes and i'm sorry took so long to go back to that point, but i forgot about it untill just now. Was sitting here a bit bored before i headed to bed and remembered it.

I suppose me actually looking at the gear on the toon, and coming back to talk about it after so long just proves how much of an ass i am though. ah good times.
