In no particular order:
1) Pets stop making noise, please, dear sweet Bertoxxulous please...
2) Can see equiped weapons on pets (if that means back to skelly I don't care)
3) AA for Rog pets automatically orienting to the mob's ass.
4) AA to swap current pet and suspended pet.
5) AA to give pets more shielding/spell shielding/dot shielding/enhanced enrage/resists i.e. more survivability...
more?

I suggested a pet switch aa before DoDH went live..another ball dropped by soe. I think they're against it. The beastlord correspondent was more receptive to it then Sauruman though..maybe that's why it didn't work. They hate beasts!
I'd like a monk pet that's a skeleton, or really anything undead and mean where I can see a flying kick! They made my barely beating heart do backflips.
I also think a berserker(and an ability to summon 2handers that "own") pet would rock. Decent hps and rog or higher dps. Win-win right there.

The first time I used suspend minion and heard the blessed silence, I almost ... /em looks around for minors.
As far as the skelly illusion, I used to get such a kick from that dance Jabober did when I hasted him.

lol, that still makes me laugh when I get a low pet up.
Always wondered why we don't have the same animation whenever chanter haste hits us.

That is pretty cool. I always wanted like a LoY troll zombie model or maybe a CoD crypt model. Then I thought it'd be cool if like AotD when you were short corpses it'd summon "shades" like in the MM LDoN's. But Now Usul's got me thinking... UNDEAD BAZU PETS 4TW!!!!!!!!1111111111

I think the Crypt Knights with the huge scythes in CoDecay would be the best models ever for our current spectre pets. Seriously, those guys are bad ass looking, I would love to have a pet that looked like one of those. Would really do justice to the Child of Bertoxxulous.

Oh Egg's sig just reminded me that the ghoul models looked awesome when they cast spells, very remeniscent of the skellie models with pet haste.

the only thing about the undead mobs in cod is..they have scythes already. I'd like a non-weapon graphic having pet. Just so we can see what we give him.

Personally i think that all our pets should have different models. mages have 4 types of pets, beatlords have different pets based on race. enchanters shades are summoned with different variations of weapons. hell, mages can even summon monsters in the zone to have as pets. why cant necro's get some other model than a freakin spectre that is bigger than us and pisses people off so we have to shrink the shit out of it.
my pet looks retarted as this tiny little spectre most of the time. when i summon him he is bigger than me.
We need our pets to scale with us, going from little sceletons, to zombies, to ghouls, maybe different types of undead from here, if its a must, different shades of creature. all the way up to meaner more powerful looking monsters.
the last time they said that they couldnt add something to the global file because there is no room.
hell even shaman pets change from normal wolves to half transparent wolves. clerics have the hammers, druids have bears....why is there room for these and no room for us?

The Global File excuse will continue to be used so long as people believe it. Seeing as it's been believed thus long, by anyone who isn't at least half-assed intelligent when it comes to programming, there's no reason to come up with a more intelligent/viable excuse.
Personally, I'd prefer many of the more pressing issues be addressed prior to new pet models. Hell, just from a pet standpoint: What good does a new model for poor raid-buffed, Spire Servant focused, Kibarab do... when as little as 1 round of AE Rampage can vaporize him, because his avoidance is the epitomy of pure ass? Functionality is more useful than eye-candy.

Sure Xelg, I'm all for functionality and all that, point is this is a graphic game and we've been asking for non spectre pets since after Luclin's switch, they finally gave us a taste of something different with the epic clicky, and so I want my damn pet graphic changed already.
Principle man, principle.
It's like the dude who sued a donut shop for $25 dollars, he didn't care about $25 bucks, he wanted to make sure the injustice never happened again.

I want new graphics. Something dark and demonic would absolutely own.
I really do think, with other games having things like this in place, and more coming, it's kinda time for SOE to do something about our old almost "nostalgic" pet graphic.
I don't care if it's original or not. They can pull it out of a DnD monster book. A comic book, a TV show or movie..at this point, I just want something evil and unique to necromancers. IE not an existing mob graphic. I think anything current would just add to confusion on big pulls/raids.
Basically IMO pets need to be revamped. Anymore I just feel like a wizard with dots instead of nukes. I'd like the pet aspect of our class to be a little more usefull, w/o sacrificing enough of our own abilities to make it prominent. There's a lot of slack right now in this facet of necromancy and I want that to disappear and be replaced by a motivated person taking our issues about pet survivability and functionality to the proper developer and get things as they should be. Mitigation, avoidance(really where our pets lack) and maybe even some AI where a rogue pet won't attack the front of the mob..hell even get pet hold to work. Perhaps even pet discipline 3-5 where you can say /pet focus font, side, back..and it'll attack the portion of the mob. That or have an aura associated with our pets that would make them worth having around..

There already is, from a damage aspect:

This is a graphic game, then redo the entire graphic engine from the ground up, as it so desperately needs. Constantly bolting shit on to an antiquated/inefficient graphic engine is one of the more retarded things to do. Want proof? Look at shadows in general, the visual gain, by no means, justifies the severe performance hit. If they wanted, they could steal EQ2's graphic engine, to save the hassle of having to reinvent the wheel.
I run this game with less than half Luclin models, no spell particles, and skies off half the time. Performance is more important to me than visual appeal.

With the exception of the DoT lines in the Vanguard necros, I really like how they are portraying the necro as a class.
It is as close as i've seen to what I consider to be an appropriate necro. Quite a few pets, and various different forms for the necro to assume. Hopefully Sony, now that it owns Vanguard, will start to impliment such things into the Everquest necromancer. I especially like the idea of the evolving pet, that is quite cool.
Cheers,

I meant for us/our group. Like in WoW a specific necro pet will give the group members 20 stamina or something (about 200hps).
Bleh .. the last thing I want is another utility that slows my dps.
Give us a pet that adds group benefit, and we'll spend half our time healing and runeing the damned thing to keep it alive or the groups will bitch when they lose whatever piddly benefit it's adding.
A new model is overdue, true. I really don't care what it is, personally, as long as it's fuckin' mute and has hands that hold weapons it's given.
And, regardless, they could give us the most awesome-looking pets ever conceived .. but it's still not gonna be worth a shit until they fix their survivability.

Heh..It'd be REAL easy to adopt the mindset of../pet hold(always, never have it attack(if there's a good probability of it dying) if it's a good enough aura) and if my group wants the benefit, they can heal the fooker. It'll get replineshment companion clicks from me and that's all. I'd also, easily give up a dot(spell gem allocated to a dot atm) for a pet heal (if needed) for a 20% dot enhancing aura given to me by a pet.
Well, maybe .. if it added something I needed. I was talking about the stamina-for-group utility or anything like that.
But suggesting that particular effect (incr. dot crits) be stuck on a pet is a bad idea, lol.
It should've come the way it was supposed to before we got screwed out of it ... via an aura.
Making us basically be the only class who has to heal our fucking aura to keep it's benefit would be rather lame.

in place of a new pet model (though I am tired of the spectre) how about if they gave us a pet similiar to the mage/bst DoDH pet
last 30 secs
decent DPS
mostly magic immune
even if ours cost more mana then thiers, it would give us a chance to DPS on those hard to land MOBs. ghoul or zombie model would work well
