Random spells seems to drop in the instanced sewers, and vxed/tipt crawls (completely randomly off named). It's instanced so you might have a warrior, cleric, necro, shaman, bard, wiz...and an sk spell will rot ><

all i know is that all new spells aore lore magie and no-drop they also have rune icons insted of scrolls will let you know when i find out more.

I think its funny. For the guy complaining we got two new tap over times. I believe the info is incorrect on the site or parser.

One seems to be an upgrade for our group tap, the other our self tap. ( 120 being the upgrade for group ).

Can always tell when people dont look at the symbols, or the mana vs damage.

Sludge Eating Fly in SNlair drops dark fire(grats me).
the geomancy stones for nightstalker turn-in drop randomly(if not rarely) in kodtaz and inkinnz, many of these are raid level mobs for elemental/time guilds. Good luck.

LOL 950 mana for one cast....OUCH. It's not like another 40 per tick is gonna save anyone's life anyway, mobs hit for like 2.5k in tier 3 gates, and trash hits for 1k-1250 in kodtaz...120/tick group heal ain't doin noffin! DoT damage on elemental/time raids maybe...but for the mana, the group better make due with zevfeers...I'm dottin' to hurt somfin!

Natimbi drops the Words of PAIN like candy. In fact the merchant by the dock when you first zone in sells these words for 7 plat a peice and has loads of them. FAIR WARNING. Looking for high end words then CHECK THE VENDORS near high end zones and might want to keep an eye on the LDON merchants for stuff. Peopel are selling loot to those merchants that are used for top end combines of all sorts of trade skills.

I did what a few of you already said, point in each and alteration is maxed per level. Abjuration needs work though, which sucks cuz FD is Abjuration. Sometimes I just FD non stop to up my skill but thats boring and slow. Any ideas on how to raise Abjuration fast?

If you want to raise abjuration fast, just keep casting minor shielding over and over and over. It's fast casting and doesn't cost any mana.

Okay, I hate to sound bitter but...is it just me or did we totaly get shafted on our GoD spells?

1. Now SKs have a -500 lifetap, touch of mujaki is -200 as are most of our lifetaps.

2. Clerics can now nuke harder than us.

3. We have a new DoT tap spell (Night stalker) that as far as I can tell is a step in the backwards direction and is 2x worse than Saryn's Kiss in terms of damage, is diseased based(woopdeedoo) and costs twice the mana (950!).

4. As if this werent bad enough, we have ANOTHER DoT tap...out of our 4 spells only two of them are really even remotely new! This spell (Night's Beckon) is actually only 20 more damage per tick, and a .5 sec less cast time, wow major upgrade. I wouldnt complain much about this spell except for the fact that we have 2 friggin lifetap DoT upgrades, thats functionaly the same spell?!?!??! WHY ON EARTH would you do that? GRR

5. A new DoT upgrade to Funeral Pyre, cant complain with that.

I'm thinking they realize once again Necros are gods, and they cant improve us much otherwise it will throw the game off balance ;) Still pisses me off...

Your thoughts?

Ancient runes start dropping in qvic, off "the zoo" boss...it's a little ring/spawn thingy. They also seem to drop about 2-3 per raid of inktu'ta...they're rough to come by.

The rest drop in vxed, tipt, sewers..and the raids of iknnz and uqua. It shouldn't be too hard to get those.

Too clarify which rune is for which spell:


Taelosian Geomancy Stone Yiktu = Night Fire
Taelosian Geomancy Stone Eril = Night's Beckon
Taelosian Geomancy Stone Jelki = Night Stalker

GoD for me as i see waste of my Money iam with a small guild, my main is 65 pally really only tank we got, aleast make the spells dropable so i might be able to get them. Well aleast they dont look that good to make me really care. So with main as pally never get to go as necro to much of anything. just my option

You want a wake up call on your "godliness" go duel any time geared melee class. You are going to die. You will be unable to hit them with any of your spells whatsoever. Do we need an upgrade?! you bet! We need some -500 spells as well. Even time geared casters are no match for time geared melee at this time.
