View Full Version : A Solid Foundation
My main is finally starting to come through with the plat which leaves me in the fortunate position of being able to kit out my 31st level Necro in respectable gear. I am aiming to buy nice gear that will go the distance. Bearing this in mind I am thinking along the lines of a Robe of Ancient Earth and a Dusty Girdle of Reformed Sand as the foundation upon which I base the rest of my gear purchases.
Any thoughts on this matter?

RoAE or RoIA are both better then the regen robe thingamij also ornate isn't bad after 55.
Jeb,
your reply has left me a little confused. Are you saying that the RoAE is a good robe to build upon or not a good robe to build upon?
Also I mentioned the Dusty Girdle. Any thoughts on it?
As i stated in my original post, I am looking to these two pieces as the basis upon which to build my future gear set. Are these two pieces a good place to start or am i barking up the wrong tree?

RoAE and RoIA are both excellent robe and you couldn't go wrong with either one. Initially the robe of abrogation would be better, but around 50-55ish you'd be looking for the earth/air tailored robe. The belt I think is ok....although I'd go with something like a girdle of mith marr or something first.
