Recently came back and finished off 70 and now improving my AA situation. I have 280ish and got most of the DoT crits and Def AAs through OOW, but need to know if there are any knew whamadyne AAs that I should go after first thing from DoD.

GoM3 first 4tw, then affliction mastery 3 and two more sets of defensive aa's precogniton (avoidance) and thick skin (mitigation)

If you don't have a pre-nerf CoS, there's also a Cloak of Shadows AA insta-click fixed duration invis with a 7 second recast.

Also you must get the extra spell slot (mnuemonic retention) and the death peace AA if you haven't yet

EDIT: a magelo would really help us to help you.

Gift of Magic is a MUST have for 70. Never appreciate it until you have it it procure a couple times and you finish your fight FM and ready for the next battle. Great Alt.

After maxing Crit Afflic I would max both avoidance and mitigation skill. Lot of people only focus on avoidance. But higher level mobs hit so hard so fast avoiding the first attack only to get hit for full force on the next three attack, you will still find yourself getting the Reloading message. You need to do both to really make your self more survivable IMHO.

GoM is worth every point to max it out.

Defensives are just as important as getting any avoidance gear you can find.

If you dont have the pre nerf CoS then the Cloak of Shadows AA is so nice that you will kick yourself for not getting it sooner than later... I know I did.

If you have AoTD grave robbing is also a nice investment as it will allow you to pull up to 5 additional pets every 6min I think(been awhile since I checked). DPS is not huge but it is a noticable improvement plus the push those 5 pets give you make taking out gaters or CH'ers that much easiler.

Magelo would be helpfull tho for going any further into the various AA's other than the DoD you requested.

I'll chime in here with everybody else and see GoM first. this is extremely useful.

As to the rest lot of good aa's out there if your under 300 but the real question is where is the magelo? We need this in order to be able to make osme real good recommendations.

Thanks.

Ok as for equipment start running some dods. I glanced at eqiupment but quite a few easy upgrades in there from dods. crucible.samanna.net has good list of rewars. also plenty of por quests you can do for quick easy upgrades.

As for aa pretty nicely spent. I'd say do gom, go back and max crit afflictoin in omens and then dod, grab combat stability aa in archtype and pop because thats a big increase in defensives for aa spent. Then I'd finish off your crit dd/crit heals. Go back and finish defensives after that. Then do secondary forte.

Shrug from there you can branch out so it's really up to you returns should all be similiar. tough to go wrong.

Well figure I might as well use this thread since it's here already :P.

Just came back from mid-luclin period, hence some of the oddest gearage (and DJ Quack Quack).

Mostly curious on AA-routes myself, plan to finish out ND3 before I move on to something else.

Feel free to finish nd3 if you want. From there Death peace has to be the very first aa you do.

Then do crit affliction in god an domens. Then do Gift of Mana 3. Then go back and finish crit affliction in dodh.

From there I'd do crit heals and crit dd. Then go back and do defensives at least through pop but I'd max it out.

That should give you a good start.

For equipment you can start soloing 69.1 and lost gnomes both good xp and will give you some nice upgrades also.
