OOW & LDON Spells

OOW and LDON spells will be researchable when TSS goes live and will be tradeable but the catch is.........if you have the spell memed or have the parchment in inventory then you will not be able to get Parchment. So in order to make them for sale you would need to delete the spell from your spell book make it again and pass to your trader. The 69 & 70 runes will remain no trade but the parchment you recieve when making these spells will be tradeable.

I just wish I knew what to hoard for spell components so I could get a jump on making these.

Bout damn time! Currently there is really no practical way to get ldon spells because no one does them anymore, this will be a welcome change.

That's going to be a problem for classes researching their own class spells. I wonder what creative solution Ngreth will find for this particular gem (if ever).

That is not my understanding. I am under the impression that only the OOW/DoDh rune turn ins would do a check to see if you have the spell memmed or in your bank/inventory. So in other words you couldn't have a cleric that is on the last run for Hand of Conviction turn in 10 Glowings for 10 copies of HoC. Rather, the first rune would give the cleric HoC and then any subsequent runes would just be returned to her until she either passed the HoC scroll to another toon or deleted it.

In other words, I don't think have the spell in your spell book will have anything to do with being able to research the spell.

I can tell you right now, having Pyre of Mori memmed will not in any way affect your ability to make Spell: Pyre of Mori.

As for what components to hoard, if you're already doing DoD spell research, you already know what two things you're going to need more than anything else.
