Chardok B?

with all the undead in ChardokB, is there a reason that noone ever talks about it as a post 60 place to XP?

Inquiring minds want to know.. (preferably before I become necromancer pate and have to do an naked race thru Chardok hoping QV doesn't fall before I get to CharB zone in :D )

You probably hit the nail on the head as to why it is not used by us more than anything. It is a B zone.. which means if you die you have to get all the way back down there without agro which is not easy to do since there is such a mix of live and dead in the zone not to mention see invis mobs. Considering there are better places to solo undead (veksar) I cant imagine going unless for challenge or fun.

If I remember right, I also wasnt impressed with the exp I got for that zone.

Are the live mobs in Chardok B on Chardok faction? If so it'll be an OK place to XP with ally faction :).

XPing in Chardok B gives you positive faction hits for Chardok A, IIRC.

My biggest reasons for not going there is, it's way out of the way and extremely small. I don't like running for 10mins to chardok and then getting to chardokb to find out there's 2-3 groups or solo'ers there already and nothing worthwhile to kill available. 10 people can pretty much clear that zone, and that's even if they're in 2 groups of 5. A few solo'ers can pretty much lock it down too.

I worked my chardok faction up back when i was doing epic, so i can get the mansie herb. I got the herb and still have good faction chardokA. i think that the zone in at chardokB is a good spot to solo. just charm an undead, haste it, sick it on another, and slow the other, keep killing till charm wears off and then zone out and back again. just keep doing this all night long,, it can't be too bad of XP.

I think it's mostly empty because most people are KOS in Chardok...and getting to this zone requires you to go a ways into Chardok.

As far as hunting there as a necro goes I believe most of the undead MOBs are near the ZI so going in deeper requires the use of your own pet since Thrall won't work here. I guess it would be interesting to see how well one could do with the 64 charm spell (WoT). I don't know if there's enough room in the zone for fear/aggro kiting...I guess there's always the root rot approach. I did try pet tanking a ZI MOB with the 49 pet...I made it barely...I'm itching to hit 61 and seeing how the 61 pet does. Once I do this I'll post back.

What level are the undead? I've been thinking about giving the zone a try solo, but can't find information about it in the usual places.
