this is my gear for my 42 necro. please look at it and tell me what you think, also please look in the bags there is stuff in there. i was told last night with my gear i should play a wizzy not a nerco. so please tell me what you think and give me any advice. thanks

Well, the only thing i can see that they'd say that is the ID stuff you have, but we get nukes too, just not as many as wizzy's, so yeah your gear is good. Only improvement I would suggest is to dump the lower BA 1 items you have. You already have a BA 3 item and so BA 1 isn't doing you any good, you can esialy pick up items with better stats, than 3 int.

You could do without the +4 int ring, maybe get a shadel bandit ring or something with some hps. The head is pretty weak too. Shiny metallic pantaloons would be a good upgrade, and another cloak. Overall you have some very interesting gear, the robe of the intellect is an unusual choice for a necro for sure, but compliments your gear well...I'm not sure about what funds/resources you have available to you, but a regen quest ring might serve you well if you don't want the shadel bandit ring. Other then that, I'd suggest saving for ornate arms, and maybe legs... or doing tons of Mistmoore ldon for gear there. Interesting profile, you have tons of focuses and very little lacking in that aspect.

well thank you for all the inputs, as you said that i have a bit of a different choice in gear. one reason is becuase i group all the time, i hardly ever solo. i do if i cant get a group, but to me soloing is dry. so alot of the equipment is for grouping. id4 for nukes becuase mobs go down way to quick and mp3 focus so i can use lower level nukes alot more with less mana. for example, shock of poison, yes a level 29 spell but when you are 42 and with the id4 i do between 180 to 190 a pop for less mana then throw in the mp3 and its even better. the robe is for the spell haste for the nukes and also for the fast acting dots, right now i now got vos that does a ton of dmg for a group dot, but i can caster it faster and this also works with the lifetap dots, faster cast more life. im sure everyone is seeing the way i play my char now. i like to group and have fun. but the focus items also helps with soloing. so my question is for 46 should i run with what i got or throw in the 2 ceramic items that i have or would that be better for soloing. my ring is going to be replaced just not sure, shadel or djorns was what i was thinking about. thunderous ring even. not sure. as for bracers not sure what to get yet, and also for the face can anyone recommend anything. i have no idea. well as always ty for the help and i look forward to having more hunts throwning my way

Id have to agree with Shaef in that yer wrist slots could be switched asu u already have affliction efficiency 3 , and possibly look at bone studded bracelet, which is (10 str, 10 int, 25 hps). Shadel bandit ring would be a decnt upgrade fer ya with the 55 hp and mana. (runs about 1-2 k or so), a good combo i know a few of my nec friends use now is the robe of abrogation (regen 2) with decent stats, and coldain military guard wrist (ba3 and just about free), which is under the quest link on this site theres a guide there to show ya how to get it.. the spell haste robe is interesting hehe, but once ya hit 55, ornate boots should be affordable (roughly 10 k or so depending on your server) and it has spell haste 4.. Hope that helps a lil heh

ok i got some more equipment im 53 right now and i know there is ornate on my profile becuase i got it sitting in the bank. so please tell me what you think. my rings are a bit week just not sure what to replace them with. and my gloves are to for that matter. again thanks for all the help

if u can afford to have ornate rotting in bank till u become of lvl to use, then u can probably afford these type of upgrades for ring..

RoL is roughly 20k, + - depending on server (also drops off King Tormax in Kael should yer guild drop him) but last couple times he fell, he dint drop it.

VroG is roughly 5-7k + - depending on server (made with JC from Metallic Liquid, and a few combines from a JC Jeweler..

I ve been using both, and the RoL gives u 75 raw hps, the VroG gives u around a total of 80+ ish..
I'll probably use these till I get somehting in ele's :P

not only you ^_^ just aot of the time people are like gear checks! and they are like lvl 20 with stuf fi used at 50-60, and they never state there main so i assume they are just lucky or rich or fake :-D
