I just recently found out that one of the officers in my guild has died tragically in a car accident at the age of 20. Although I have never met him in "real life" I truly mourn his loss. Both his younger brother and his best friend play in our guild and understandably taking a break from the game. The rest of us are truly stunned and in mourning as well. I called my girlfriend up when I found out and she cried which brought tears to my eyes as well.

His main was a 63 Ranger by then name of Rodnney Mullen. My first Character was a ranger as well. He had always helped me with advice and quests and gave me some Hand me downs back in the day when Ivy Etched was still good. I'll never forget what a stand up person he was and I was exstatic when he became an officer, becuase he truly deserved the honor and could handle the responsibility well.

You can truly tell the kind of person behind the toon. There are alot of loneys and scumbags on Norrath and it's good to know that you can become friends with the good ones. A bunch of us joke around about taking road trips to hang out, and from now on I will always seriously consider an offer like that. You never know what may come of it.

You can honestly make friends in this game, friends that will have a lasting impact on who you are and how you live your life. Don't take some kind words and some offered help for granted anymore. This can be more than just a game if you let it be, it is also a place for social gathering even if it's not face to face. Remember that. Although I'm not deeply religous, I do believe that there is a higher power out there and that all of your actions, whether tangible or intangible, reflect on what happens to you in the next life, remember that as welland rest in peace Andrew where ever you may be...
