I just heard that camping guards in Katta is really good XP wise. I'm already KOS to most NPC in the zone so I figured I would give it a try.

Any of you hunted in that zone before? If so, any tips before I get myself killed a couple of times.

On an other note, I noticed that High Keep has 100% ZEM. Would it be a good spot for me? There few lvl 40+ monsters in the zone. If the spawn is fast I guess it worth a try.

Xveer has been lvl 58 for more than a year now. I'm not playing has much has I use too (3-10 hours per week). I really want to get him in the 60+ and try some PoP zones.

Yeah, they are decent, and you can turn in the drops to the Coterie people for quests too.

Boy, I think the XP will be really slow at 58. I did the graveyard area til maybe 53, and I think I was getting 1% every three to five kills or so. I then decided to push to 65 and started grouping pretty exclusively in PoV. I don't play all that often (6-10 hrs/week). It probably took me four months to get my last 10 levels. And I learned to be a pretty good grouper, so I feel very comfortable either soloing or grouping.

I could suggest heading to the planes. If you don't want to group, I think you could solo yard trash in PoN no problem. Those will net you at least 1% per kill.

The thing about Katta is, it's really, really easy. The only risk is that you fall asleep and forget to cast Darkness or Fear when you pull a mob, otherwise your XP bar just keeps on going up and up and up... slow, but continual. You can solo in the planes, but unless you get a good spot the number of FD and /qs or rezzes when things go wrong really eat into your levelling time. Overall it's probably faster, but in Katta you can get XP while you read a book or watch TV (just find the right spot then pull with Splurt, run to pet, Dooming Darkness, send pet, Bond of Death, Invoke Fear).

I thought the XP was OK at 56, but at 58 they started going light blue and it slowed down quite a bit. Twinked out my low-level SK alt with the Validous Custodius armor too, and got max KoS to all Katta factions other than the evil ones :).

As to where to pull them to, I did either the back right corner as you go into the graveyard, pulling guards in there to the pet from outside, behind the bar near the bank, or on the walkways near the zone-in. I think they'll all single-pull at 58, the only difficulty is if you do the zone-in area as you have to pull two guards who are standing with their backs to you by the entrance tunnel, and you can't see them to cast spells. They have a tiny aggro radius when you enter there from the walkways so you can pull the other guards out with Splurt first, but you probably will get hit a few times for up to about 110 damage when you get close enough to make those two guards aggro.

Oh, and if you do go, stick to Legionairres: the Centurions are over 50 and apparently they summon :).

If you're 58 there's basically no excuse for not being in PoP.

The XP in pop will beat the XP in any old-world zone. Period. Read my post in slyyther's guide above - it's a very detailed description of how to solo the planes. People make it sound hard, but it isn't.

The bottom line is, if you're casual and want to spend your time wisely, you'll learn to solo the planes.

Awesome post Goshozal!

There's few things that I need to figure it out before I venture myself in the planes solo. One thing for sure is how to aquire 10k pp fast for the mount, and this is excluding the mandatory lvl 59 pet spells.

Skillz may become an issue also

Thanks again!
