Someone suggested that I try Fungus Grove at level 60: I'd been running through it on a number of occasions to Twilight Sea, Scarlet Desert and Katta, so I'd wondered if I could actually solo anything there (having heard that most everything resists snare and root).

As it turns out, the small mushrooms aren't bad for non-PoP mobs at that level. They tend to chain-cast disease-based slow and stun spells, so they do relatively little damage. EoT was easily able to tank them with some help from Shadowbond: with 115 disease resist a fair number of their spells landed, but when I upped that to 160 with a few hundred plat in the Bazaar we resisted everything but the relatively rare mushroom illusion DoT they cast. They have about 10k hit points (Deflux takes them down around 3%), and hit for up to about 125 when they do melee... a few run when low on health, but most fight to the death.

I invised past the Lotuses (who summon and apparently root and nuke if aggroed, so even FD won't always save you) and set up in the village near the Echo Caverns zone across from the mushroom spawn: the mobs in the village were green and conned apprehensive. Arch Lich up, pulled with Vexing, waited for them to come over, which usually meant telling the pet to bacnk off while they cast once or twice, then send it in to tank, Shadowbond, and repeat as required. Normally I'd get through three Shadowbonds and two Vexings, and a Deflux if I got hit while pulling, but was full of mana at the end of the fight and immediately ready for the next one. They respawn fast, so that just about kept me up with the spawn rate, and I was always able to single-pull at 60. I did briefly try pulling with Funeral Pyre, but boy did they not like that.. poor pet was taunting like mad before he finally got them off me :).

I didn't actually time it, but probably took about one and half hours to do a yellow at 60, no cash but they drop fungus bits that sold for a plat and change, mushroom bits that sold for up to twenty plat and change, and 50+ research components (got one of the words for funeral pyre there so far, plus a wizard rune and a bunch of chanter pages).

So not brilliant XP, but it's another really easy camp and you can kill non-stop and possibly get some useful loot.

Sorry my mistake. I read your message again. I though you were refering to the wrong spell where Deflux could not bring the mob down to 3% of their HP.

Now I get it. Each Deflux reduce their HP by 3%.

I sincerely apologies...
