My AA

Can someone look at my AA and let me know what i needa work on next ( for raiding ) had a necro class leader tell me i picked horrible choices on raid aa ...i tend to beg differ , but curious what you guys think and what i should do next :)

just some thoughts.

- max GoM (incl. TSS),
- max Willful death (incl. TSS)
- max direct dps aa`s, I think that's just TSS dots/dds/taps in your case.
- secondary forte
- i'd get persistant casting, just because.
- same with call to corpse :P
- less important are theoretical dps aa`s, things like mental clarity etc.
- mystical attuning is great to have, really.
- i'm assuming this is a mistake, but it says you don't have mnemonic retention. if it's not a mistake, pretend it is one to save face and get it immediately :P
- i used adv. pet discipline a lot (pet focus, i mean)- if you don't use pets on raids it's not important, obviously.
- (nitpicky) are you missing DoN aas as well? some of the bonuses are quite nice the first two tiers are quite easy to do.

maybe i missed something, but those were glaring at me.

If you don't mind me (at 83 AAs myself), I would suggest the suspend/persistant minion and maybe pet feign for now. Especially the suspend/persistant. That way you have another pet immediately available just in case boner doesn't make it thru that AE.

Otherwise, maybe finish up aod, sod and gom. That will give you more dps and may use less mana if gom procs for ya.

I may have the order wrong on those. It may be more beneficial to leave the persistant till later.

Horrible?

I can't see anything important that's really missing except willful death and it's upgrade, and it's usefulness is fairly recent.

Anything pet-oriented is nice, but far from raid-essential.

Ask this "necro class leader" tool what he would have picked. <_<

Imo (speaking as a raiding Necro), get Mastery of the Past and Mnemonic Retention asap (I'm guessing that's the bulk of what this class leader was referring to). After that, I'd get Gift of Mana, Willful Death, Death Mask, and Mystical Attuning. GoM because it procs fairly often and you can't beat Dread Pyre costing 1m. Once you ding 75 I'd make sure I had Gift of Radiant Mana ready to go as well. Willful Death & Death Mask are (again, imo) essential for raiding Necros especially, since in a wipe situation you want to have the highest chance possible of staying FD. I added Mystical Attuning especially if you're raiding content where AEs and debuffs are going off frequently. I usually raid with at least 15 buffs on me, and if you start losing them to due to AEs buffing classes tend to get pissy with you =(

The rest I think are good to have, but I'd get those first. I'd hold off on the pet AAs if you're primarily raiding, since most folks don't keep a pet up on raids (I don't, anyway). If you're one who does, I'd say probably get pet feign and suspended minion.

I noticed you also don't have any of your DoN progression done, and you might want to work on those if you can. +10 to all stats and +10 to all stat caps, 3% increase to HP, 200 increase to Mana, extra buff slot, increased chance to critical heal, critical hit, critical DD / DoT by 3% and increased chance to resist a detrimental spell $$

That's essentially what Nephayres, but with my own spin =p

i have all my dot crits maxxed ( minus anything from tss ) and i have suspened minion already ( it maxxed too )

So weird it wasnt showing :(
